So the Commu-ERRRR-Social-ERRRR-Democrats are in power in the U.S., and Castro's on his last legs in Cuba. Anybody else see the refugees streaming in the other direction?

Actually my point was that extremism in any form inevitably puts one in a comical frame. That includes the extremes of socialism as well as the extremes of capitalism. In all my years I have almost never seen a win win or a situation in which there was not some disadvantageous aspect to. As for

I’m sure Caesar probably said something similar about the peripheral provinces. As for myself, I have learned to be humble about my fate. In the historical scope of things yet to come we are nothing but a footnote.
