Not before *&^!? time.

(from another Canucklehead, because
even "Canuck" is so harmless that it has
no value as a term of self-deprecation.)

The Castros must continue to make it clear that most things are non-negotiable. This includes no US-managed "transition" plans, and that terrorism from the U.S. be stopped and that Cuba has the right to make its own economic and social policies and answer to no one!

everyone answers to everyone else. cuba doesn't/shouldn't have to report to the usa, but the usa and cuba both should be responsible to the UN for their actions, whatever those actions may be. and I do mean both guantanamo bay (should have been fixed forever ago too) and the political prisoner situation in cuba. there really shouldn't be strings attatched, everybody should automatically behave kindly to their neighbors, but how likely is that?
I'm just impressed that they are actually doing something. talking to each other is pretty darn good considering what's been going on since the beginning of Fidel's rule. (Castro could be either him or his brother, but Fidel sounds too casual... odd.)
neither cuba nor the usa should have any terrorism going on, but they should definitely be willing to work together, in a friendly, mutually beneficial, non-threatening manner.

now if only this were possible... *sigh*

and yes, MacNeill, Canucklehead is definitely the best self-depreciating term I've heard of yet, lol. points for originality.
