Sad story the mom was trying her best...but I'm glad she found a home that can care for her.

That story actually reminds me of Harry Potter - this neglected, abused kid finds a family that says she is worth more, and is willing to teach and care for her.

That sad story has helped answer a question I posted here a long time ago, as to wither symptoms of Aspergers can be the same as symptoms of neglect and parental abuse.
