The Gillie Suit is standard for snipers of all nationalities. The idea is to blend in with the background.

A short lesson in American grammar:

"too" is synonymous with "also" as in "He misspelled 'cunning' too", or to describe an overabundance of something, as in "there are too many errors in this post"

"to" is a verb form, as in "I am going to forget I ever read this post"

"two" is a number, as in "There are at least two errors in this post"

You're welcome.

I find the Gillie suits to be normal, but I find their "snipers" carrying AK-74s entertaining, I'd figure them to at least get them a Dragunov-style rifle.

Well I'm confused. Why are the "snipers" wearing ghillie suits that look more suited to woodlands than the desert? Why are they carrying AKs, not exactly known for their range or precision? Why don't said AKs even have scopes on them? I can see how US troops would be confused; "dude, that bush like thing out in the dunes is pointing an AK in our direction, think should we take it out?".

I am going to the kitchen to get a soda and mull over whether it is a breach of etiquette to point out that there's at least one use of "tu:" that you didn't cover.

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?

Iran is not mostly desert, and Iraq isn't entirely desert either. Iran can get seriously cold, below freezing temperatures, it shares very mountainous regions between turkey and Iraq, etc. It has a full range of climates. Read up on it.

I think people mistakenly think that all countries in the middle east are a. Arab (Iranians are of Persian origin) b. they all live in the desert.

The only real desert dwellers in the middle east and north africa are the Bedouin. In fact Bedouin mean desert dweller. It takes special skills and knowledge to live in the desert, most people aren't up to it.

A desert can be cold, it's simply an area that receives little precipitation. Antarctica is the largest cold desert and there are deserts in Ukraine and Poland. I agree that Iran is not mostly desert, a the largest proportions of it's climate are Forrest Steppe and Semi-Desert, the two occupy about equal proportions of the land.

I agree with you that many people mistakenly think Iranians are arabs, they are an indo-european people.

Iran is mostly forested in fact....

I live in Lebanon and I only saw a camel twice or three times in my life.
