Maybe he laundered them wrong, and they turned pink.

Poor lad, I feel sorry for him.

I feel that he was doing the right thing to grab his helmet and body armour rather than takng the time to put on his full uniform. Maybe next time he might wear more macho coloured boxers.

On one side I think it's rather idiotic to have on the front page, and on the other side I think the guy's going to get a severe razzing.

Or maybe it should be a non-event?

NExt time, leave the boxers your girlfriend gives you at home and wear the ones you buy yourself.

That was my first thought. He's also wearing a red t-shirt. Red t-shirt + white boxers + washing machine = pink boxers.

Oops....apparently Fox was a little too slow to catch this (not that I'm surprised at that.) I just started a new thread on it, as this is the first I've heard about it.

You gotta admire the guy for being secure enough in his masculinity to wear pink boxers around a bunch of soldiers in a warzone, though.

And I, too, have had some misadventures in laundering (have turned a few things pink or lavender myself >.<)

A film director of repute wore women's underwear under his uniform during World War II, thought his favourite material, angora, would have to wait for more private moments...

Maybe the underwear belonged to his S.O. The famous singer Prince, did the same.
