I have a phrase- Love God, hate his sycophants.

It is perfectly possible to lead a casual Christian life without all these religious freaks who take the Bible totally literally. If they really do take the Bible literally, would they not eat pork?

And to answer your question, yes I do believe in God. I have a rather convoluted series of Judaeo-Christian beliefs which I'll go into another day.

I got to an all girls catholic school but i'm not sure if i believe in God or not.

I pray to God sometimes, but i'm not like very religious. I only pray to God usually if i'm trying to find something lost, but i don't pray to God every day.

I voted "yes", but I don't believe in God like how some religious people would. I highly doubt God is a man in the sky ordering me what to do in a literal sense at least, but I do believe their is a spiritual energy, spirit, whatever you want to call it, out there and within us.

First off, Judaeo-Christians are awesome.

Anyways, I believe in God. More then that, I believe I'm a Son of God and that we all have an eternal heritage. To ask me not to believe would be impossible because the threads of the gospel are so interwoven in my life that to take those away would unravel everything into nothing. To me, it's not religion, it's just a fact of life. But despite that, I think we all have freedom to view life how we will.

I don't know why it has to be God versus Science. Everybody seems to think that the manifestation of science disproves God, but when you realize the probability of life forms forming by themselves and everything coming together in a productive environment as it has, it's difficult not to consider some kind of intelligent design.

(BTW: Intelligent Design is NOT carry the same definition as God. Intelligent Design IS NOT God. Rather, God is an Intelligent Designer. Everyone here should watch "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" Really good documentary on the subject, very interesting. Has Ben Stein in it. Seriously, check it out.)

No one will ever be able to PROVE that God existist but there is good evidence that He existist.

i do not believe in god atleast not in the christian (or for that matter not in whatever major religious) sense, i have a personal belief wich in contrast to most people i know with "personal beliefs" isn't just a watered down version of crhistianity. i find it good that people believe in the divine, whether theyre christian or jewish or believe in thor and odin. its just that i personally dont find it convincing. through experience and my own fantasy and whatnot i shaped my own way of believing in stuff that might be or might not be real, and im happy with that.

I used to, but with all the people who are out their say they are catholic and even say 'I love Jesus' I refuse to belong to a Religious Community. If they were Catholic, they wouldn't judge people and they do so really they're just hypocrites. I guess I still think God is out there but I don't worship him the way NTs do because a lot aren't even willing to accept that we are all family in Gods eyes. But I do like reading about theology because it is really soothing at times.

I don't believe in god or the supernatural. I'm all science.

I belief in God. I don't like religion.

FWIW I don't disagree with science, which is the main reason I don't like religion.

No. I was sucked in but I got saved. I think what lured me into the Catholic Church was more the people than the beliefs, they were all really nice to me and made me feel welcome, a feeling I don't often feel so that's why I got sucked in. Sadly what saved me was the death of a friend. Five years left. That's what I thought anyway. I thought it was cancer, 5 years. Turns out it's four cancer, a year and a half. Was it a worthy price to pay. I think not.

Oh, how I feel for you. I myself am an atheist but my family is Roman Catholic. My father in particular can be the most stubborn [person] on the face of the earth. All I can say is don't let your family's disapproval of your atheism stop you. Rock on, girl!

Honestly some times I do some times I don't. It's more of a general belief though, I also have friends who are prejuduced against religion something I think is unfair.

I have come to beleive that god is used as a comfort blanket to the world as somthing to beleive in they have tried to beleive in him so much that they have blinded themselves from the truth and belive that god must be the answer as for jesus yes i do beleive that he existed but was no different from that crazy guy standing on your street corner shouting about god and the devil and whateverexept people took notice of him and beleived he was the son of god!.

Maybe im wrong maybe im going to hell and when and if i get there please could you delete my response xD
