I like alternative/nu-metal from Asia. Three of my favorite bands are Clash, Cells, and Microwave, from Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam respectively. Here are my favorite songs by each band.

My favorite genre is punk rock, and my favorite band in that genre and in entire realm of music is a Finnish band called Klamydia. They have been described as "a vulgar-styled humor band," and I love their sound and the fact that listening to them keeps my Finnish skills up, especially when I go long stretches of time without actively studying it.

I've recently gotten into liking the Indie genre of music (Death Cab for Cutie, Blind Pilot, Bombay Bicycle Club, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, etc.), thanks to last.fm. I am also, however, into classical/Classical (Chopin, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff/Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Bach, Satie, etc.) I had, for some time, the Beatles as my special interest, so I am also a fan of music from the 1960s British Invasion. I also like folk... and 60s music in general... Oh! And Jazz.
I can say I like many types of music, except for modern Pop/Rap/Alternative Rock... (and right after I post this, I'll probably think of others.) ^o^

I like the scientific parts of music. Right now, I found out that every semitone is equal to 150 RPM.

I like Jessica Jarrell, Charice, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga. Believe it or not, I like my music quiet!

My last.fm username is Anonymousgurl. For some reason I can only listen to female vocalists.

I love 80s music and musical music. I can listen to the 80s station and love just about every artist. I dont know why, but I strongly prefer male vocalists to females, although I can't help loving Madonna and Pat Benatar. And musical music is always cool. I find it very ironic that the song "Born to Hand Jive" in Grease ALWAYS sends me into some kinda hyperactive hand shaking that I can't stop till the song ends.

Other than that, I will listen to anything from Benadictine chant music to big band and surf and (one of my all time favorites) disco! Gotta love the Village People and Funkytown lol.

I love non-mainstream electronic music and other genres related to it. Not really sure how to explain my music choices but look up Passion Pit - Sleepy Head or Fantastic Plastic Machine - Different Colors to get an idea.

I like All Time Low, Cartel, The Maine, Sparks the rescue, Jimmy eats World, simple plan, and my favorite band ever is blink 182
