I feel kinda all alone =(.

I'd like to have more friends on Plurk, but most people I know either don't have one or don't use it.

This is mine.

It's sort of like Twitter, except easier to use, a little more rewarding (but maybe I'm just a rare case who likes getting achievements for doing something) and a lot less well-known. I like to think it's the ASD version of Twitter, but your mileage may vary.

In any case, does anyone on here have one? And if so, post it? Maybe we can be friends? I mostly plurk about my life, fandoms, and random stray thoughts that may come into my head.

It sounds like something you do to a big white spot on your forehead. :wink:

So what, you get points for blogging about your life?

You've 47 fans there, why not befriend some of them?

@Moog: Lol?

Sorta. Basically, you get some "karma" for doing various things, like uploading a profile picture, plurking, etc. You're only allowed to plurk a maximum of 30 times a day, which works fine for me because I don't talk much normally. So I can make like 10 or so plurks in a day and be fine. You get a small amount of karma every time you plurk and as long as you plurk at least once a day, your karma will stay steady. And the higher your karma gets, the more stuff you unlock. Also you get badges on your profile for reaching milestones (like over 100 pageviews, a certain number of plurks or responses, etc).

Ah, I do, but sadly I think most of those are bots and a fan is not the same thing as a friend. Besides, none of them respond to any of my plurks, so for all I know all 47 of them are bots....

Bump because I'm serious. I really would like more friends on there....=<

Plus I only know like two other people with AS, and neither have plurks. I'd like to know more since right now almost all of my online friends are NT.

Maybe looking to make friends in such a specific realm isn't a great idea. Plurk seems to be a niche tool that I don't know of anyone using. How about looking to use other mediums to communicate with friends, like email, MSN, Facebook, Twitter or whatever.

@Moog: Because I prefer to use Plurk? I mean, more Aspie friends on Livejournal is good too, but I like Plurk more. It's not so much niche as is it is not well known. But it's a wonderful alternative of Twitter.

I wonder if I should make a new topic in the teen forum, since I'd like to specifically have friends within my age group.

I could move this one there.

I'm not saying you shouldn't use Plurk if you like it. It's just quite hard to interest people in signing up for yet another social network/platform.

@Moog: If you can or want to, that'd be nice. I wasn't really sure where to put this anyway, so maybe it'll get more attention...

And yeah, I know, but just in case other people here happen to have one already, it'd be nice to know. And it's not really "yet another" unless people are on a bunch of stuff already. Though I personally like being everywhere, so....

I completely ignored this thread because I thought plurk was some kind of medication. Thinking about that now, plurk does seem a very odd name for a medication, but you never know these days...
I'll google it.

@Hen: FFFF, s-should I change the title a little? I mean I don't really see how that can be mistaken as a medication, but lol.

Ok =). Alternatively, they have an about us page: here.

I thought it was a medication, too.

I don't have a Plurk, though I might look at it, but I have a livejournal if you'd like that? That said, my lj and twitter are both boring, kinda reflects me.

What fandoms do you like?

@Froggo: Ok, I'm changing the title of this topic. Or...not....what kind of forum doesn't let us change our own topic's titles??? O_o

LJ's fine, lol. I just like having more friends on Plurk specifically, but I don't mind LJ either.

I....have a lot of fandoms, lol. Um, let's see I guess you could consider me most active in: Glee, Nabari no Ou, Pandora Hearts, Black Butler, Tales of, Sonic The Hedgehog, 07-GHOST, D.Gray-man, Soul Eater, Letter Bee, Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Soul Eater and a few others...that I can't remember off the top of my head, lol.

@Bridget: Mine's Kirvee. I sent you a friend request!

@Brad: Um, no. It's more like a more organized, more logical version of Twitter.
