It would appear I'm very lucky to know a few. I actually have to go to a group every Wednesday lunch time, which has about 5 people in. I'm not sure if they all have Asperges, but they all certainly have a form of Autism. It's a social skills group .
I only know one well though, and I talk to him nearly everyday at the computer room. Not a long discussion but, yeah.
I actually feel kind of lucky now that I know quite a lot in my school, and one of them is basically my best friend! I've actually known one of them since I was 3, and he told me in Year 6(10-11 years old) that he had it when I told him, and it was kind of surprising to see him there at the social group when I came into the room for the first time, it was just him and me, and then another guy from Year 10 came(14-15 years old), and then two other people from Year 9 came, the year I'm in(12-13 years old), and then this year another person from Year 9 came. They have a separate group for all the people that had it in Year 7.
This is also a regular school, btw, not for people with special needs or anything.
Rather ironic really xD.
EMZ=]
You're lucky, i know one, he's 13, and cries at everything. He forgot something, he cries, teacher told him something, he cries, the teachers yell at him for crying, the kids find it annoying, even me somewhat, I don't make fun of him like the other kids, but the constantness of it. It doesn't happen everyday, used to be worse. He always yells about how noone cares about his emotions and such. I feel bad for him sometimes, I really do. The kids all call him elmo, making fun of him. He's in 7th grade, i'm in 8th, I only see him in study skills and gym.
