When I was at secondary school I knew someone with Asperger syndrome.

I found her a couple of years later on here as 'CrimeBabe'. I haven't seen her on here for a long time :(

There are 2 people in my year with AS, one has another mental disorder (can't remember what it's called, but it is shown as 4 Capital letters) and does nothing but walk up and down and talk to himself, and the other one keeps turning the lights on and off and throws things at people because he thinks it makes him popular, and when he isn't trying to be popular he just stands in the corner and chews his hand.

I already graduated, but I know two aspie boys from my high school.

One I didn't know so well while I was in high school with him, but I got to know him better after high school (it's thanks to him I'm on this site, lol).

The other told me that he was re-diagnosed as just having ADHD and no Asperger's, but I don't believe that, I've known him for too long.

Well, before I said I know some people with Asperger's in my school who aren't my friends. Well, I have an update for that situation.

1, my one close friend I think may have undiagnosed Asperger's. She certainly has a lot of the symptoms.
2, my other close friend's older brother has Asperger's. She told me the other day after I told her I had it. She's going to get her bro to call me and we'll try and become friends.

It would appear I'm very lucky to know a few. I actually have to go to a group every Wednesday lunch time, which has about 5 people in. I'm not sure if they all have Asperges, but they all certainly have a form of Autism. It's a social skills group :P.
I only know one well though, and I talk to him nearly everyday at the computer room. Not a long discussion but, yeah.
I actually feel kind of lucky now that I know quite a lot in my school, and one of them is basically my best friend! I've actually known one of them since I was 3, and he told me in Year 6(10-11 years old) that he had it when I told him, and it was kind of surprising to see him there at the social group when I came into the room for the first time, it was just him and me, and then another guy from Year 10 came(14-15 years old), and then two other people from Year 9 came, the year I'm in(12-13 years old), and then this year another person from Year 9 came. They have a separate group for all the people that had it in Year 7.
This is also a regular school, btw, not for people with special needs or anything.
Rather ironic really xD.

I wish I knew a person at my school with Asperger's syndrome, but, unfortunately, my school only has 300 people in it... and I am the only high-school kid in my area with it. Not even the councilors at my school really know what it is or how to help me when I have issues that I need help sorting out.
Luckily, my father and I are very close, and he has Asperger's syndrome, and we talk a lot about stuff that I would with another Asperger's person.
As far as teens go, though... No teenager around my area has it. The only other one that did graduated and is now attending college.

I think I posted on this a while back, but now I feel as though another person from my school probably has undiagnosed AS.

He fits the description very well - same routine every day (meets me in the computer lab after school at the same time), gets very close to people when talking to them, has a special interest which consists mainly of updating a website nobody will probably ever use. He even has the characteristic clumsy walk.

He knows that I look up autism and related topics often, and I think that he would have said something if he knew he had it, judging from his lack of withholding of some of the other personal information I've heard him blurt out.

You're lucky, i know one, he's 13, and cries at everything. He forgot something, he cries, teacher told him something, he cries, the teachers yell at him for crying, the kids find it annoying, even me somewhat, I don't make fun of him like the other kids, but the constantness of it. It doesn't happen everyday, used to be worse. He always yells about how noone cares about his emotions and such. I feel bad for him sometimes, I really do. The kids all call him elmo, making fun of him. He's in 7th grade, i'm in 8th, I only see him in study skills and gym.
