I have one year left after this. I've found that with the exception of a few teachers, there's about as much homework as you yourself make, but if you don't do any, you'll be lucky to pass exams. I don't know much about the schooling system over there, so your school might actually teach you about the topics in your papers, unlike mine.
Do any of you get extra time or a quiet room to do your exams in? I was supposed to get these exam conditions for my end of years, but they decided not to let me because my grades have been 'good enough' so far. Unfortunately probably not good enough for the uni course I really really really want to do.
Although I've been put in a few classes this year where I didn't know anyone, as long as I could get up the courage to ask if I could sit with someone, there were always happy to talk, especially if they only have one or two people with them and I explained that I didn't know anyone / was new. My school seems to have a lot of particularly nice and friendly people though. Everyone seems to be more accepting as we get into the final couple of years, and it's becoming more 'everyone knows everyone'. I think I would be fine now talking with almost anyone in my year, even if I don't know them that well, I can almost guarantee they have as many complaints about our school as me so we have something in common.
