I collect wire-bound notebooks. I've kept a journal for years, but never manage to fill one completely before buying a new notebook.

I also collect stuffed black bears (I adore black bears).

I used to collect:
-Rocks (I had to force myself to not look at the ground at around third grade)
-Bottle caps (especially metal ones)
-Pen/pencil parts (I made my own pens out of them)
-Buttons (I "stole" the extra buttons I found in stores when I was about 9-10)
-Coins
-Perfume samples (I liked the different shapes they came in, not the perfume)
-Origami stars that I make with different kinds of paper
, and a bunch of other stuff.

Now I collect business cards and gift cards.

Manga. Mostly digital, because physical copies are like $8 each after tax, and I can't afford that.

*Russian Dolls (the kind that stack in each other)
*Hand fans, ones that fold are preferred
*Anything Disgaea (including the games and different versions)
*Used to have extensive rock and easier collection as a kid.
*Baseballs, and Softballs, a couple of golfballs, and lacrosse balls. (I find them, have only one baseball I've bought.)

I collect Disgaea not only cause its awesome but because the games are rare (I don't know if it's the same in Japan). Most people have never heard of it. This brings me joy (joy of the hunt maybe?) I also like getting other people into playing it.
But that did lose me my original Disgaea 2. :x

When you collect notebooks and blank journals would you ever write in them? Or do you just leave them blank?

I used to collect rocks. Now I collect junk. I also have some Pokemon cards around here, that is, if those kleptomaniacs called my brother and a foster kid didn't steal them.

I don't collect anything now but when I was very young, I used to obsessively compile caps from Robinsons Fruit Shoot bottles!

Oh gosh, everything.

When I was younger, I collected a bunch of mermaid stuff.

Now I collect coins, rocks, stuffed animals, knick knacks, FMA manga, Harry Potter merch, feathers, earrings and books on religion. The thing I'm most obsessed with collecting now are animal skulls.

I tend to collect really unique and miscellaneous things; things that I've never heard of before. If you saw a picture of my room you would understand. I did use to collect cars like Hotwheels.

I also collect all the American state quarters (I have relatives that live in America, and for my birthday they gave me the collection book with all of them in), different two pound coins (I have five), different fifty pences, fake Roman coins, postcards (of places I have been), badges and stationary (is always nice to have a lot of).
