I consider myself an atheist, but I don't believe I've been brainwashed. I mean, I didn't get the idea to be an atheist from anyone else.

When I lived with my parents, they forced me to go to church. I hated it. Being told what to believe made me physically sick.

But I didn't become an atheist as a reaction to bad experiences with church. Instead, I call myself an atheist because it happens to be the word that best describes what makes sense to me as a result of my knowledge and experiences.

I respect other people's beliefs and I would never try to convince anyone to think the way I do. If everyone had the same beliefs and thought patterns, life would be boring.

I really admire this way of thinking

I've looked at every religion and none of them make any sense to me at all, therefore I'm an atheist. Also I don't think Atheism means you have to believe in the big bang and all that stuff, I for one only believe in things that can be proven, all religions have no proof, and do not make any sense at all. Theism needs to die. :)

I'm an atheist/agnostic It's so easy to see that there are so many conflicting religions in this world, and they all claim to be superier, I stretch to understand others though and I know they have some kind of a mental block, we all have mental blocks, society calls it taboo to think otherwise sometimes. I have tried hard lately to think outside the box, if thats the right way to put it.

I think the mental block is important somehow, it's like a restoring point which defines who you are, and not to sink in every thought you would find
it's all about the freedom of choice, if we all accepted that we can be different in our views, we will live happily

Yeah I discovered lately, personality is formed from biased thoughts that formed when we were very young that are very hard to change, for example I don't like watching football, because I don't like just watching other people do soemthing like that, I don't like games like that because it's so repetitive, and I have a tendency toword not liking things I'm not good at and seem repetitive, and the reason I don't like that is because I think enjoying something goes along with being good at it, and repititive things just arn't worth doing and all those small base idea's, the point of explaining all that was to point out that trying to change the idea that football is entertaining to watch would be impossible with out changing those base idea's and those base idea's are connected to other idea's to form a network, and it makes a mess :P

Unfortunately, your views are a threat to humanity as a whole, so I cannot accept them.

"Agnostic" is a holder of an epistemological stance. Atheism is more of a "belief", or opinion.
