Immature? At least mature kids are still somehow like works in the process, so we shouldn't worry this much:)

I think it's the 'jocks' and 'populars' you are referring to more than NT boys in general.

I know several NT teen guys who are nothing like you described, and I find them to be very nice people.

I know so many adolescent NT's are so immature from when they pick on people to when they brag about when they were drunk, I have always gotten on better with people older than me and children, Im leaving my college course soon and the NT's there are not much better than the one's from school.

I can't stand teenage boys and I am one. I do better with girls my age and people older and younger than me.

I am different. The more immature or the more people act 'mature' when they aren't... I love them!

Many NT teen guys are immature, but most of my NT friends, guys and girls alike, are fairly mature for their age, but I guess I just choose my friends wisely.

I find that the majority of the mass public are immature.
I do not normally come to such websites of these because they tend to draw things the wrong way.
However my friends on Xfire are very mature.
Even though I have an 8 year old and 9 year old there they are even more mature than most 30 year olds.
But this is just mmstick's choice of friends.
have Xfire? add mmstick...
Or just look for his profile (I do not add anything to profiles. I merely link to Xfire)

Yes they are immature. They laugh at everything. Even a freaking fart noise. I mean come on!
Sitting in class and some kid starts making fart noises and their all laughing as if they were just sprayed with laughing gas.

Agreed. When I was in UK yr 7 (age 11, for me 2002-2003) we would never dream of being rude to teachers or being stupid. Most of us. Now the sixth form or teachers are shown no respect whatsoever. Waaayyy more fire drills set off on purpose now too, annoying and risking our education. Well, most of us, but those got out when they could, at 16)
I found everyone is much maturer when they are no longer required to be in school and are there by choice (sixth form, 16-18) However, we are pretty immature, such as photoshopping one girls face onto a pic of Hermione, pretending to be Steven Hawking and talking about random things rather than doing work. But it's all good fun and we all get our work done. Mostly.

I don't think all NT guys are immature. Though I consider most of my friends slightly or very immature, I do know some guys that are very mature.

I can't stand teenage boys. I'm walking down the street and they shout "fa***t" or other names out their car window.

Agreed. My main group of friends consist of two NTs and one aspie. The aspie, is fine by me for the obvious reason of being an aspie. The first NT is actually just returning to school after being bullied and spending years out of school because of school anxiety so he's obviously not 'jock' or 'popular'. The second NT is just a cool dude who enjoys rock music (like me, again not 'jock' or 'popular'). These 'jocks' think they are so special, thus, no self-improvement unless it's in a physical activity. Same with 'populars' only their even worse because they get no self-improvement at all. Just remember, by the time they get out of high school, the 'populars' go nowhere, and a majority of 'jocks' go nowhere unless they are way at the top of the sports food chain. Meanwhile, most of us aspies are most likely to go into college to study our "special subject" whether it's computers, art, music, math, science, etc. We then emerge successful and able to get a job. Meanwhile, these 'populars' and 'jocks' are eating in homeless shelters if they are lucky.

ITT: Unfair sweeping generalisations of neurotypicals.

I see this too often, and I've only been here a few days. Not all aspies are deep and meaningful, and not all nt's are idiots.

IMO it's more like jocks don't let non-jocks mature. Once I met a boy of my age (I assume he was an NT), whom I previously knew as a total jock. With his "friends" away, his style suddenly changed, and it was immediately clear to me that he was rather mature, but was forced to act "popular" by peer pressure. This was when I thanked my parents for homeschooling me. I guess it's specifically the poor social skills that protects Aspies from such influence.
