I posted before saying I haven't. Technically I still haven't because it wasn't a relationship and I haven't yet have penetrative sex but I have been involved in sexual activities. To me it was just experimentation but to my friend it seemed to be more. Now we don't talk at all, it's too awkward. Sad that.

I haven't had sex with anyone thus far. I have kissed, etc (don't want to go into detail) at age 14/15. This was with a guy I was with for two years and we moved very slowly. Some people don't believe we stayed together that long and never had sex, but whatever

I still need to start just a relationship itself. So much to discover as of yet.

I haven't had a first kiss yet.

It's complicated, because I DO want to get in to a romantic relationship, but if I do, I want to wait until marriage if possible.

I'm 14 right now and that's under the age of consent, so it'd legally be two way rape.

It bothers me that kids younger than me are doing that kind of stuff in two ways, for one they're too young, and for one I haven't been there yet. They're getting more action than me!

I'm still getting over the fact that I'm probably going to be lonely forever.

Gold, old celibacy. :D

Apparently, the law makes a few exceptions if the two people involved are pretty much the same age. Then again, as you say, if they aren't (and both are below the age of consent) then it's two-way rape. If one's above the age of consent and the other isn't, then the one above gets charged with rape.

I know both of those feelings. Aged 15, myself, I hear constant tall tales about people that kind of stuff, and I can't help but feel somewhat as if I'm missing out. Imagine - when you're 20, looking back on this and feeling that you've missed out on alot. Even the childish dating I could have done with, but for me it seems it's almost too late for me. Time is passing me by... :(

This is something I find stupid, actually. The law says that if you have sex and you're below the age of consent, it's rape... WTF? If a girl who's 14 and a guy who's 15 do it, for example, and they both want to do it, it's still consent, isn't it? So I don't get the logic behind that at all, makes no sense IMO.

BTW, teenagers tend to lie about what they've done, so they could be just as inexperienced as you anyway

It's assumed that you are not mature enough to give consent. So, in the eyes of the law, consent in only given by people legal aged.

If it was, then there would be no word for "celibacy", would there? :P

Believe it or not, but years ago (from 1959 and previous) it was considered a good and respectable thing to be celibate. Come the 1960's, however, there was the "hippy" movement and tonnes of "free love" on the streets between people. Since then, celibacy had taken a huge hit. As more and more teens found it "cool" and "adult" to have sex, and as hormonal signs started appearing at a far younger age, sex became almost commonplace amongst teens. Until now, our generation, where we hear constantly of people boasting about sex in school etc.

Some of it is boast, and some of it is truth (as shown at one time where this girl who got pregnant was in school, and ended up leaving school for maternity leave eventually. Everyone was cheering her on, including teachers... What a terrible example of a "role-model"...), however, regardless, there is no "coolness", and most certainly no honour in having underage sex. Legally allowed or not.

Oh, I didn't know that.

That's really interesting. Really.

I wish I could somehow express my feelings of interest.

Thanks for telling me.

That's just stupid, it's not as if teenagers don't understand sex is it?

I prefer Spain's law, the age of consent is 13 over there :P

(In fact, in most of Europe, the age is either 14 or 15, ours is actually unusually high)

Well look at how strict our country is on alcohol, and what happened to alcohol culture? You could say the same thing for sex. Maybe the strict laws have a negative effect.

It's a fact, strict laws do have a negative effect. You heard of the golden apple law? Always want what you can't have? Well with youth it seems to be that with alcohol and sex. Because the law is so strict on teens having any they want it. Whereas with alcohol in Italy where pretty much anyone can have alcohol not many people pinge drink of anything. For 2 reason 1: They can have it so don't really want it that much and 2: They've grown up with it and learnt how to have it responsibily

That's a very good point, actually. Like if my mum didn't let me have chocolate when I was younger, I'd really want it. But if I had loads, say on Easter, I'd be able to leave it alone quite easily.

Of course, these days, I just buy chocolate whenever I want, but I'm not overweight or anything because I rarely do so. More proof.

BTW, age of consent in Italy: 14

Well, I didn't make the law!! !

Hey, look at what the law used to be for males to have sex with other males. In UK the age of consent was 18 until relatively recently. Where's the logic in that? And, a lot of people were against it being changed to 16. Especially on the Tory side.
