McCain is mostly likely the next Bob Dole because he has got angry at the media with their biased to him and focus more on Obama. 1996 and 1960 all over again lol.

I'll admit I am not thrilled about any candidate. Obama can give good speeches, but I'm not too sure about his tax breaks for middle class and soak the rich taxes for the rich. Here is what will happen:

- The rich will find a way to hide thier money, and the Dems will hike up the taxes of the middle class; it's happend before and it will happen now.

I am mum however on withdrawing troops from Iraq. With security improvements, I think that if Iraq wants us out, than this is what it wants. In other words, listen to them.

I also don't like his stand on oil. Even though gas prices are going down, it will go up again, and we need more of our OWN oil to stop prices from going up.

However, what I don't like about John McCain is that he flip-flopped on Bush's tax breaks, when he opposed them and then supported them.

But....in the end, I'll vote for McCain, because there is something about Obama I don't trust.

^I understand what you mean but here's something that actually worked in taxes. By reducing the percent on the lower, middle, and upper classes, you will get an increase of revenue of tax money. This was clearly providing by Thatcher in UK because the economic statistics provide that government revenue increase because of tax cuts and business grown in the UK. It happened here to with Carter or Reagan I forgot which but it works effectively. Basically Obama needs very good economical advisory to help there not Keynesian economist because their system was completely incorrect in the first place and is dead by the Neo-classical School of Microeconomics and New School of Macroeconomics theories. Also we do need look alternative sources of energy and fuel but everyone is hard in the head about it so its a rocky road there at the time being.

^So it doesn't mean he is a terrorist either. Everyone has fallen for that stereotype when in reality those are fundamentalists of Islam are the terrorists. True members of Islam are peacefully and respectful toward other religions and society. Everyone needs to second looks at things in order to understand it fully. I done it a few times and it has worked pretty good.

Also he is a Christian anyway so you fell for a mistake in identity as well, Krush.

Quote:
Although Obama is Christian, July 2008 polls have shown that some Americans believe incorrectly that he is Muslim or was raised Muslim (12% and 26%, respectively, in Pew[189] and Newsweek[190] polls). Cited the latter poll by CNN's Larry King, Obama responded, "...I wasn't raised in a Muslim home," and said that advancement of the misconception insulted Muslim Americans.[191]

From Wikipedia article on Barack Obama.

^No it isn't because many people are blinded by assumptions around Obama when you need to look at both sides of the field in the first place to have a better understand of things.

Both of them are dunces.
McCain: Supports war in Iraq, flip flops Bush the 3rd etc.
Obama: Supports taxes, wiretapping, 'tis a pork barrel spender, flip flops etc.
If we pullout of Iraq, it should be slow and prepared, or we will mess everything up and waste money.

Mccain all the way. I feel insulted by Obama after that entire race thing with bill Clinton Obama lost my vote he could have stopped it yet he showed his true colors in my opinion he showed he was just another greedy SOB who does not give a rat's back side what happens to the country.

I would vote for Mr. Obama if he would publically promise to direct the Attorney General to prosecute everyone involved in deciding to start this stupid Iraq war - including the current president and anyone else who lied about the reasons for invading.

I'd give Obama a D and McCain an F. Obama wins out—he's WAY too right-wing still and only seems to be getting worse, but under his rule at least matters will be less terrible.

If Clinton likes Obama, I like Obama.
My friend's against him though, 'cause she's against abortion.
