Why on earth would any girl (or guy for that matter) not want to be a feminist? What the hell? Feminism is necessary and it's for everyone.

Out of curiosity, why do you think you need feminism?

I am also curious about this. As far as I can see our rights are equal and we have equal chances. I've never really understood why we need feminism if no injustice is faced.

That is pretty much where I am coming from. The point of all civil rights movements has been equal rights. I actually find such movements that exist past their original goal (that is equality) to be detrimental to the intent of the original movement.

Now if a recurring trend of unjust action could be demonstrated I would be open to learning about it and taking action to eradicate it. However, I personally see a great many more harms currently brought about by the actions of those who fly the feminist flag.

Couldn't agree more. In some ways it looks as though they are isolating off females while claiming such insignificant things as sexism, as it looks they are running out of things to fix in order to keep their movement running. The problem is equality is a very difficult thing to measure, and so they create their own e.g. women in STEM jobs. Far less women go into STEM than males, but it seems the movement claims this is due to women having difficulty entering this field rather than the fact girls are just far less interested in it. The female and male minds are not equal, nor should be treated as such. They should obviously be given equal chances, but not forced so they are completely equal as this displaces the male jobs, leaving them unemployed. I don't think they think of the long term solutions to what they are doing and honestly that scares me.

I have a Tumblr account lying around, although I don't ever use it anymore. Like most people have said, Tumblr's reputation for having a backwards-thinking social justice community is one of the major detriments of the website. And from my experience, there really isn't a way to avoid, and if you voice your dislike of their methods one of their supporters will come over and condemn you in retribution.

My original account I used for fandoms, but I grew to dislike most of the communities, who acted like entitled brats the majority of the time. And it was also hard to interact with anybody since I never ship anyone with anyone.

I've never been on Tumblr. Social media isn't really interesting to me. I had a facebook and twitter a while back, but then I deleted them because I got bored of it.

I'd sooner stay in my own little technological bubble and do the things I enjoy then spend a lot of time on these sites.

I used to have one, but I deleted it because I felt like Tumblr wasn't the place I wanted to be.
