It would be interesting to hear about peoples nervous habits strange or normal it doesn't matter. My habits are biting finger nails which is so bad I start bleeding, I also pick things apart and my school binder is pretty shredded, and last that I can identify is biting my hands, mostly my fingers and I do it hard enough to draw blood sometimes.

That depends on the type of nervous.

If it's "around-people-nervous" I tend to become shakey, and I start sweating. To calm down, I try to get the talking done, and I also stim.
My stimming in this kind of situation is mostly like: Drumming with my hands (On my legs and sometimes on tables), constantly wriggling my toes, "foot-flapping" (like hand flapping, just with the feets).

If it's nervous about something that is going to happen, then I can be alone in my room, and then there are far more stims. Like hand-flapping, turning around on the chair, sometimes a bit rocking, putting my hands to my mouth (well, sometimes I do this in public too).

Of course, these stims are not limited to when I'm nervous, but are also apparent when I'm excited.

I
1. Fiddle with anything around.
2. Fold up and dog-ear my papers.
3. Chew my nails.
4. Pull out my hair.
5. Tap my feet.
6. Tap my fingers.

I have to do things with my hands. Once when I got called to the office, I folded my pass up into a pterodactyl origami thing while I was waiting for the counselor to see me.

I also doodle if I can (though my nervous doodles usually aren't any good and I get stressed at their quality), or I tap my fingers. I like to turn on my music if I can or try to read (though if I'm really nervous I can't focus on reading). I might also pace around the house and look for comfort food to eat.

Basically, anything that I can try to focus on to distract me from what's making me nervous.

I tap my feet really fast and wriggle my toes - some people have asked me why I am shaking. When I have to answer a question in class for instance, I have sweaty palms and my stomach 'knots', and I also stutter and end up speaking too quietly; as a result, my teachers tell me to speak up and it just makes me more nervous as I have to repeat everything I had already said. I also bite my lips until they bleed or are very sore and my fingers wring around one another.

I bite my fingernails too. I also bite my skin (although I try not to do that too much), rock back and forth/from side to side, and make my legs shake.

These are my nervous habits:

-twiddling my hair
-playing with whatever I have in my hands (be it my cell phone in my pocket, a pencil, or my pencil pouch)
-wiggling/tapping my feet
-biting the inside of my cheek (not to the extent that it hurts, more like just chomping at the skin. Sometimes I even do it without thinking about it)

looking to my watch (seems like waiting for some time)
but, if I dont have a watch on that time, I look to my arm, and I'm 100% sure that it really looks weird from outside.

My legs tend to bounce up and down constantly,
I compulsively drum on everything including people,
I pick scabs or nose when I'm nervous or upset, hurt, bored, etc.
I crack my knuckles, wring my hands, and other stuff I can't think of I'm sure.
I also cut my nails so impossibly short, toes and fingers, often making them bleed.

I think I would rather have something really hurt bad, than feel the semi-tingle/tickle/hurt I usually feel.
