What image would you say is the cool image? Because I'm a boy, my idea for a cool guy is someone you can be interested in. The guy would be all quiet, chilled out, everyone respects him, he dosen't smile, wears a black leather jacket, he's nice, wise and dosen't try to please others inless he has to, and dosen't care about anything, because he has his whole life all sorted out {Or at least he comes across like that} So he would try his very best to not show his emotions. And if someone was to insult him, he would always have a smart comeback up his sleeve, because he is clever. He would walk with his friends and while they are all chating, he would just be all quiet and think. What about you?

Ah, Blockhead, I don't think it's just teenage males that would like to fulfill the description you gave!

For whatever my two cents' would be worth to you (I'm 44 and female after all!), a good starting point would be to demonstrate respect to all who you encounter (except for known rapists and animal abusers) and your own style of humor.

The "cool" will develop on its own from there.

Good luck! :)

A loner. Not chilled out, not particularly respected or respectable. Someone who just doesn't care. Smart but not particularly wise and not very nice nor offensive before the situation calls for it. When insulted he doesn't need words to defend himself. He wouldn't have friends because he wouldn't need them and he wouldn't want to deal with their problems.

Personally, I'd say that "Cool" is just about anything I personally think is awesome/neat/epic etc. Things I like. I can't really generalize and say for example, boys are cool if they have long blonde hair and blue eyes, because that doesn't work for every example, so :P

need to be calm, smart, and know when to speak up. the type of person who sticks up for others. does not matter what they wear (except maybe pink). not important but the sound of their voice can help. basically strong willed but not preachy or talks too much, just when it is needed or funny.. maybe.

I don't really care about what's cool. I've noticed that the definition of cool is different for every "group".
