Why am I changing?

I used to know how to talk to others, in a fairly simple way that is. Recently though, I have become way more introverted, my grades have skyrocketed for some weird reason as well. I only spend time with one person and it's very seldom.

Is this normal to experience?

I am currently in grade 12.

The only constant in the universe is change. If you aren't changing, you are violating countless natural laws.

I was dx'd at the beginning of grade 10, and I think the more I read about the subject, the more I realized I couldn't actually talk to people. I'm saying that my perception of socialization changed.

Also, in grade 11 or 12, I had my final HS math class, and I happened to realize that I was actually good at math. I'd always been a B student in math, but that year I had 100 for every quarter, 99 for the midterm and 98 for the final, and it was effortless. Don't get me wrong, I placed something like 220/300 at graduation, but that was something I learned about myself.

I guess I could be discovering things about myself that I never knew about. Maybe it's for the best and maybe not.

To be honest, when I read the name of the thread, I thought "And this is in the Adolescent forum..." and shook my head.

Seems like you're just discovering you suddenly don't want to hang out with as many people as you used to - maybe some sort of subconscious realization! The answer you gave about finding more out about yourself is good too.
