well, its my last weekend of summer and i am so excited and so nervous at the same time about the school yr. i want to be able to look my peers in the eye, and not look to the side because im ashamed to look people in the eye. I want to walk the halls wth confidence, and work extremly hard on getting good grades. then, of course, theres the scared part, worried that my grades will be bad, and then im starting gym as soon as i go back to school, which i hate! its just, i have a lot running through my mind right now, are you scared when school starts?

I wouldn't say I'm scared per se, just a little nervous about whether I'll know the material and who I am going to meet. It's when I go to a new school for the first time that I get scared or incredibly anxious.

The only thing I'm worried about right now that's school related is my schedule. They still haven't sent us our schedules, and I'm a little bit nervous that I didn't get the advanced classes I wanted.

when I was in high school and junior high, I didn't look forward to school starting. it meant being bullied, hiding in the bathroom or, later, the library to avoid people, not talking in class, and a refusal to care about school assignements or school in general.

Oh yes, but that's just fear of the unknown for me, then like after 2 days I'm good to go, walk through the halls and grind my enemies to dust if I have to! lol

Just keep in mind that everyone is as scared as you are, the only difference is their way of hiding it.

I'm going to uni and actually looking forward to it. There are another three weeks of holidays ahead of me, though.

I'm not really scared. Just bored, because I know what to expect. Maybe though, just maybe, something exceptional will happen. Like me getting a girlfriend.

I love school for the educational aspect, but back in public school I was terrifed of the social part. It would eat away at me until I finally broke down, temporarily lost my mind and had to drop out before I killed myself, literally. Nowadays, I can honestly say that I am happy to go to school. Afterall, when online in virtual high school I can put on my Charisma Mask and everyone likes me. In fact, today is my first day!

I am a bit nervous and a little pissed about the schedule because I didn't get Spanish when I wanted to start learning a language.

As for the social aspect, I'm pretty excited to have a fresh start and I'm a bit more experienced with making friends. I have a few goals as to what I want in my social life

1: Guy friends as well as girls.
2: A large circle so I don't become too attached to one individual. That never works out for me.
3: Possibly a bf/gf (leaning a little over the gf side)
