Do you find that some teens you come across have a generic appearance? I find it so, I don't know how to describe it.

I know what you are saying....let me try:

Girls:
Thin (almost bendable, like the posture was messed up and you could snap them in half)
make-up plastered on (dark eyes anyone, rouge cheeks, shiny shiny lipgloss)
with short-short-short-shorts (that more pertains to desert girls, but it happens in other places during the summer)
and a cute t-shirt (from some expensive place in the mall)
some kind of purse (gotta have a purse, duh)
perfect hair (straightened or curled to perfection)
fancy sandal-flipflops (regular flip-flops are below them)
not short but not tall (short enough to have a boy hold them, tall enough to not be a cheerleader...most of the time)

Guys:
Tall (5'11 or higher, or else he is a shortie I guess)
muscular (because everyone knows the athletic guys are popular)
deeper voice (kinda obvious)
some kind of catch phrase T-shirt (who would put some work into choosing their clothes)
regular jeans (no comment)
a pair of toms (that's what's popular at the moment)
short hair (also obvious)

Explain much?

I think girls tend to have a generic appearance. sometimes I would get annoyed when I look at a bunch of girls in floral dresses, all looking the same and then look at myself and feeling very uncomfortable.

Exactly.....but not floral dresses. Those are women. Teen girls are usually clad in accessories and designer jeans/cute clothes.

I mean, sometimes I dress to look like them to fit in....but in the end, I have a different sense of style than the norm.

I am not sure where you live or what the style is in your hometown, but where I am, teen girls are becoming interested in floral dresses. I don't know why.

That first dress is ugly because it so WAY too short and the pattern doesn't look good.

The second one seems to garndma-ee.

I know what you mean, at least with NT teenage girls. I look quite different than them.

This is just a blown up version (I hope) of my avatar. I'm the girl in this picture.

I feel I look different. I certainly behave differently. I mumble to myself. One time I was heading to the bathroom and I mumbled to myself and a girl asked, "Who is she talking to?"

Next time someone asks me that, I'll say slyly, "It's the voices."

I know full well what you mean, Talking to yourself is a problem(?) I've gotta deal with. Thank my lack of friends for that one.

Do you think there is a generic appearance (facial structure and such) among certain teens?

Yeah, kinda. It's like they're all carbon copies of each other. It's like there's a few different types of people, and everyone I see falls into one of those categories. I have never really been able to put myself in one of those categories, for some reason. I don't know anyone who is like me.

I find that most girls/guys without a personality dress the same. I see a lot of individuals though.

As for facial structure, depends on your location. The breeding in that area kinda determines that.

Pretty much. If someone looks different, they'll use make-up to hide it. I'm not one for changing one's natural appearance (make-up, piercings, plastic surgery, e.t.c.) as it either makes you blend in with the "normal" kids or makes you look like an "emo" kid. Neither of those are things I want. I like being the kid with the glasses, the shaggy hair, and the lack of fashion sense (plaid for the win!). 'Cause that's how I roll! 8)

I feel like everyone dresses in the same way. It's weird, I mean the whole point of being a hipster is to not conform, so how come they all dress the same way?
