When I was in high school, I wasn't very well liked. I had no friends starting out, but I was lucky enough to make some later on. I was an honor student, and an all around geek. Some people simply hated me and picked on me constantly (why I don't know, I never did anything to them). I was so low on the social "food chain" that even freshmen picked on me when I was a senior.

I was so glad when I graduated last year and started college. When I started college, my sister (she's NT and four years younger than me) started high school at the same high school I went to. And somehow, she has befriended many of the people who made my life suck during those four years.

So she now really knows what a total loser I was and how much I was hated.

And she agrees with them.

My own sister hates me and picks on me constantly now, along with all the people who were in grades below me when I graduated. I noticed the other day that she took it off of her facebook page where it said that we were sisters; and she'd added some of the girls who used to pick on me as friends. I ended up blocking my sister, because I couldn't stand to look at it anymore. It shouldn't matter to me what she does, but it does matter. We live in the same house, we've yelled at each other a lot the last few days.

And most of her yelling at me is telling me how much everyone still hates me and what they think of me. I can't believe I haven't gotten away from all of this yet. It hurts and she doesn't care.

I can't ignore it. And I don't want to talk to her about it (not that she would listen). My mom went after her today (I overheard the conversation) and told her to stop bullying me because I'm "tender hearted" and that I'm taking everything she says to me seriously. And that just made it worse.

What I'd really like to do right now is curl up in a corner somewhere screaming and crying and stay there for a week, but my sister would just tell everyone about it and make into a joke.

This sucks and I don't know what to do about it. :(

Hmm, that could actually be me next year.

But, all I'll say is this. I'm sure there's plenty of ways you can make her life miserable too. Have fun and be creative with it.

Here's my suggestion:

I frequently have the same problem. My sister just thinks she's so great because she's going into 8th grade. She often acts like she's the oldest family member. She will say things frequently like this: "I'm going to be 16 in a few years, mom. Start saving."

I then remind her that I'm going into 10th grade, and I will be 16 first. My mother (reacting to her brattyness) also said I can choose one of the two cars we have now for my own. That not only shut her up, but it made her cry.

Not everyone respects the people around them. Doesn't mean you have to respect them back all the time. :)

Next time your sister calls you a looser or says no one likes you - just say "i'm to smart to care anymore. And I'm smarter than you and all your little fiends and that why you hate me. Your all jealous." then, no matter what she says just walk away, turn away from her, ignore her, and walk away.

I don't think that would work very well. She'd probably just laugh and say something like "Yeah right! Who would be jealous of YOU!?"

I think it would just be better to (at least pretend to) ignore her. Whenever I do that, people lose interest. Also remember that you are the better person. Arguing doesn't solve problems.

If that doesn't work, the "Annoy-a-Tron" idea sounds good... :D

Thanks for the replies everyone. Sorry that I took so long to read them, I've been busy trying to get all kinds of stupid stuff ready for next semester....

The good news is that my sister has stopped being a butthole for the time being and she apoligized for being so nasty. I'm not sure why though...I don't know why she ever does anything the way she does it  ).

Just in case she starts being nasty again, I'll certainly keep the "Annoy-A-Tron" in mind.

My stepsister did that to me.

I just stopped caring. I figured if she wanted to make a fool of herself, she can do that, however I want nothing to do with her.

You could of course learn about behavioural analysis and tear her to shreds by using that to figure out all her insecurities and attacking those insecurities criminal minds style but that's a little extreme. D:
