When I was a kid, whenever I went out in public with my mom usually to get new sneakers, or go shopping at the mall. Whenever that happened, if I played with my little brother, or read a book and almost walked into someone or something like that, My mom always said something like "How could you do that? do you know how many mothers in there were giving me dirty looks, like "Wow she has really done a bad job with that boy" " Or something like that. I don't really remember. I will say that 1: at the time, I didn't really understand why mom cared what complete strangers thought of her,and 2: even when I looked for them, I never once saw any of these alleged "dirty glares" (which pleased me to no end, since I was only looking for them, so that I could gather ammunition for an argument royale with her on the subject)
anyone else had somnething like this?
