When do you think you went from "pubescent" to you
Like you know how there are different stages of adolscence?
Like upper L through middle school, you learn about nurturing the weak, respect of self and others, responsibility, dealing with the opposing sex, etc.
"acting like an adult" basically.
By high school(mid-to late adolescence), you are basically trying to get out of your parent's house, being independent, paying your way through society, occupying your time, professionalism, etc.
Most people have finished this emotional growth by about 16.
Anyways, since I have Asperger's and ADHD, I was playing Pokemon till like age 13 lol. Though I hit physical puberty very early, about 12 and a half, and I'd finished basically by early 14.
I was barely learning not to sit with strangers at the beginning of high school.
I was very childlike, about 7th grade. I had no friends and would constantly sweat all day at school.
I'd come home, masturbate, and have no energy (lack of constraint and understanding of priorities, etc.)
It wasn't until this march that I realized what it meant to be a "young adult".
I've become more comfortable with my understanding of my surroundings and "figuring it all out".
I'm understanding what a loser I am staying in my house and I am hard at work trying to get good grades and get out.
I am also learning more about how to treat women, that is, you have to KNOW how to approach first rather than just barge in.
You know what I mean?
Also, character. That's all I can say and I can't explain it anymore.
I'm turning 16 in the middle of August, and my emotional maturity is a bit over 14.
So a mature beginning of the year freshman.
This change has taken about 2 months.
So when did you start experiencing these emotions?
Obviously, it would be later than NT's, but most Aspies eventually become "adult" Aspies rather than "child" Aspies?
