This is actually not for me, but for my older bro.
He used to behave strangely in public but would do fine at home.
Claimed to forget to do eye contact.
I can't go much deeper but the individual behaviors described seem more that of adhd and less of Asperger's.
for example:
He functioned better after doing an active game in the morning
He was more hyperactive and would get mad when told to stop running.

I read that ADHD people are more likely to forget social things they know rather than not knowing it. He knew it, he just forgot under pressure. Either that or he was lying, which he does frequently now @ 16 and doesnt seem aspie like either.
Thoughts?

From what you have mentioned so far, it does sound a bit more like adhd. But I don't really have enough information to say that with any certainty. Does he have a diagnosis of one or the other? Also, the two can coexist, so there's a possibility of him having both.

There's not much to go off, but it sounds more like a case of ADHD.

It could be both seeing as how they're supposed to be comorbid, but it sounds a bit more like ADHD.

One more thing his eye contact is fine now when my dad scolds him he just looks him back IN THE EYE defiantly. So I'm thinking either ADHD or he was just a quirky kid cause he's normal now.

Sounds more like a case of ADHD. Especially if he can make better eye contact.

Personally, I can't stand eye contact.

Yeah either way he has no diagnosis that I'm aware of and I DUG through my mom's email I spent like three hours entering every search term I could think of. I found out a LOT of things that I didn't particularly want to know....
