I'm not a teen but just like reading vampire related books particularly for teens like Twilight series. Has anyone read The Immortals series by Alyson Noel?

I've read the first two. It was pretty good until I got to the second book, and afterward it was just awkward (the story). Not really bothering to read the third one. My aunt got me the first two books for my birthday (not knowing I had already read them).

Is is kinda like Twilight? Human loves vampire and how that relationship turns out to be? Is it horror like Anne Rice?

My daughters have both read them. They have all the vampire related books. I read Twilight and liked it somewhat, but I prefer my vampires to be either of the Anne Rice or Bram Stoker variety.
