How often do you guys miss the past? Last night was the first time, in a long time, I genuinely felt nostalgic. I have no idea why, I randomly remembered something from a few years ago and suddenly started to remember a lot of other different things that happened in my life. My memories ranged from when I was 5 to more recent times, like last year. I miss my sophomore year of highschool, New Year's Eve 2012, going to my aunt's house every Saturday when I was little, and many other things. I'm only 17 as of now, and yet, I feel like an 80-year-old reflecting back on life :P

None. 2005-2010 is inaccessible, and anything before 2005 I just can't remember.

Studying my own past is a special interest of mine, bringing back memories and understanding what went on. I'm fascinated by finding books, songs, or whatever that I haven't read, heard, or whatever since that time in the past. When I expose myself to them again, they can unlock a lot of memories I didn't know I had. These experiences are rare, but interesting when they happen.

I've been really nostalgic recently. I just started designing a whole comic based on when I lived in Connecticut a long time ago. I've also been revisiting a lot of movies and TV shows I grew up with (my avatar is an obscure reference to Thomas the Tank Engine).

Nostalgia for video games, yes. But not for much else. I have too many bad memories to be able to look back fondly at my life.

No nostalgia for elementary/middle school

But I do the prior years of high school. The good old days, before most of my friends ran off and graduated.

Nostalgia isn't like it used to be.

I believe the expression uses an "Ain't" in lieu of "isn't"

I'm shooting for grammatical correctness, so the correct form is actually, "Nostalgia is not as it used to be".

So there.

:P
