What is considered an AS meltdown/what are some of your personal examples?

Well, I'm not sure about other aspies, but my meltdowns are usually quite violent and I get incredibly aggressive. Last one that happened, occurred at school. By the end of it I had yelled "f**k you b***h" to the teacher, accompanied by the middle finger, thrown a chair through a glass window, snapped two or three school laptops in half, tossed a couple of 100kg+ wooden workbenches (it was in a mechanical class), one of which landed on a kids leg and nearly broke it. The other kids and teachers were very quick to vacate the classroom. I had also done it at a time where my back was that bad I had difficulty walking (old injury), so after the sudden strain I'd just put it through I was limping severely and in quite a bit of pain. Funnily enough I don't seem to feel any pain or emotions other than complete rage while having a meltdown. I also get a huge surge of adrenaline, one time I just walked straight through a locked door, the lock just snapped in half. I often compare myself to Bruce Banner, usually quite calm and collected, but once something sets me off I rage as bad as The Hulk. Cheers

Well, when I have a meltdown I feel a rush of extreme anger and lose control of myself and start swearing, crying, throwing stuff around the room and breaking stuff and generally start getting violent with people and the only way to stop me is either by restraining me or waiting it out until I tire out from exhaustion. When I was younger I was known to bang my head on the wall several times and bite my arms when Something set me off. Although I've not had that many meltdowns at secondary school before, because I was usually able to control myself and leave the class before things became too bad. I think that the main trigger is when I try to act nt for the whole school day until I come home and usually can't cope with anything else so the slightest thing will set me off. But thankfully nowadays meltdowns are now a rare occurance for me.
