Do you want to wait until you're married to have sex?
Why or why not?

No. If I ever get a women, I'd wait until we're both ready to have sex, whether this be before or after we're married. I don't know when it'll be, before or after though, because it hasn't happened yet. :)

I thought growing up I would wait, but then I turned 15 and had different ideas. If I met a woman and fell in love, and she wanted to wait, I would. With my current girlfriend, I had to wait several months, which is the longest a woman I have dated ever made me wait.

There are plenty of good reasons to wait (faith, disease, pregnancy) , and plenty not to as well (makes you closer, feels good). In the end, don't decide for yourself, talk with your potential partner to get their feelings on it as well. Never go into a relationship thinking "we are going to wait" or "I want it or I leave." Every person is different, so every relationship is different.

No because to me, marriage doesn't mean anything. When you and your partner feel ready, you can do it.

I voted no because, let's face it: Half of all marriages end in divorce anyway, so I say let yourself go.

I don't believe in marriage, but neither do I believe in spontaneous sex with someone you've if only recently met and if you don't even know if you'll even spend that much more time with them (outside of sex, at least :P).

Yeah, I want to wait for marriage to have sex. One reason is just because I'm a Christian and that's the way I was brought up to think like. Also, I want to save my whole self for the one person I'm going to marry, and make them feel special because I waited for them. But while this is all in my head, I have yet to have a boyfriend so I just really hope I will be able to follow through with this. I think that also, it would be more comfortable to know that your partner will less likely just run off on you if you accidently get pregnant or contract a disease. I don't know, I'm not a huge expert on this topic, but that's just where I stand at this moment.

(Sorry if I rambled too much, I just tried to explain my thought and it ended up taking more words that most people wrote in this topic)

I voted "no." When you & your sex partner are ready then go for it.
It's your mind & body and it is your decision.

I chose wait. I really don't think sex before marriage is right. Which is probably because of my Christian upbringing and my beliefs because of that. I pretty much concur with everything that Squeeker typed.

I'm Catholic as well but I thought otherwise before going through two years of sex-ed classes at my HS. That changed everything.

I probably can't wait for marriage, even though the chances of finding someone i can love forever and ever are highly unlikely.

My boyfriend and I plan on waiting until we get married, because that is what we both believe in, and we are positive that we want to spend our lives together. We enjoy each other's company, so there is no reason to rush into a physical relationship. We love each other, and I think that is all that matters.

I only got married for tax reasons. I'm not religious, and it didn't make sense otherwise.

Most all marriages end up filing for divorce.

Besides, marriage is an antiquated system.

I'm not even going to get married.

I may stay with one person for most of my life but I'll not marry them. It'll just make for a big mess if we ever have to break up.

Yeah, like still being married, and not knowing where she is.
