Standing up for your own good
Today I made a really good choice. I got really sick of some girl at my school who starts drama like a wildfire all the time. So I came home and blocked her on MySpace. She might get really mad at me when she notices that (because she considers me her "best guy friend"), but I don't care because it can't be any worse than all the crap she's fed the teachers and students. No, I do not go to a regular high school, yes it is a alternative school because she would have been expelled back in May if this is a regular high school.
So have any of you had to make a decision like this over a friend? Wouldn't mind hearing some stories like mine.
i only had one thing like that happen to me and it wasn't that big. this one girl in my school's women's choir is really stuck up because she is in both "official" choirs durring the school day and in one of the after school groups too. I have never been able to read music while she is completely dependent on her written music. she started talking to another girl behind me about how people who can't read music shouldn't be allowed in the choirs because they are all ret*d and should have learned to read it when they were little like she did. now, being the stubborn, royal-pain-in-the-butt aspie that i am, i turned around and very nearly flipped out on her. "who are you to say who can be in a school choir or not? and those of us who can't read music aren't ret*d, its people like you who are so prejudused who are the ret*d ones." let's just say she hasn't said a single word about people who can't read music (at least around me) since. ![]()
