I have been a vegetarian since I was old enough to know were meat came from. I've noticed that there are a lot of vegetarians and vegans on WP.
Are you a vegetarian or vegan?

I've been a vegetarian since the early to mid nineties... I love the way people think you can be vegetarian and still eat chicken and fish - they just fussy eaters

I am not, nor have I ever been, an inhabitant of any planets of a blue-white star approximately 25 light years from here....;)

LOL, I agree! Once my mum was in a restaurant and the menu had seafood down as vegetarian, and she knew I'd have something to say about it, so she asked the waitress what the hell, and the waitress reckons only vegans don't eat fish.

I don't eat meat or fish, and I don't wear fur or leather, but I'm fed up of having to search labels for hidden byproducts, so I only don't eat it if it's clearly not vegetarian.

People in my class are always judging me for this, cos this other vegetarian girl eats fish but not meat or byproducts. But if they ain't even veggie themselves, they have even LESS right to judge! It's personal choice, right!

Plus they always try pissing me off by saying my handbag is crocodile skin, but it's only plastic with a crocodile skin pattern. Don't they think I checked?!

I've been contemplating it for a while now. It just seems like it would be hard to get started. I'd have to tell my parents not to serve me meat anymore (my sister is already veggy so that makes it easier) and I just feel like it would cause me a whole lot of trouble. Then again I keep getting enspired to go veggy by my favorite bands (protest the hero, rise against, etc.

I used to be a vegetarian, but I started getting sick because I wasn't getting enough protein and such. Also, the foods I eat is already so limited due to my sensory issues with taste, I hardly ate anything when I was vegetarian.

I eat a vegan diet but don't class myself as a vegan. I use products that have probably been tested on animals because the others are so hard to find and expensive...I'm a teenager without a job. However if I can get cruelty-free things I do.
I'll just say I'm a vegetarian with a vegan diet. :)

I've been a vegan for about a year and a half now.
