What do you listen to when you're sad or depressed?

I listen to Frank Sinatra's In the Wee Small Hours. Sure, it may be from 1955, but the songs are timeless, and are especially powerful when it's a person that's causing your sorrows.

i usually start with something really sad and depressing (country or emo works well, lol) then move to more aggressive sounding stuff (metal/industrial usually.) and if that doesn't work, then i try some tchaikovsky, which can take me through so many ranges of emotions, i just get confused and forget that i started out sad/depressed....

some Bach music - one of the few things that really console me (esp. movement 2 of the 1st Brandenburg concerto).

Albinoni's Adagio

Paint it black

La Ballade de Jean Batailleur (some of the most pessimistic lyrics ever)

Por que llorax blanca nina?

sometimes Madredeus

I have never heard the original one, but I've heard Sting's remake.
