I've had the worst day! :( I can't stop crying. A friend and I had an argument earlier this evening. She said some things just to hurt my feelings, and I admit it worked very well. I just can't believe that someone who called me their friend would be so mean.

I just want to curl up in a ball and go to bed, but I keep tossing and turning there.

Well, tomorrow is another day. I guess I've just got to hope that something good will happen then.

Sorry your friend was very mean. I know how deeply words can hurt. There are different reasons why people do that. Sometimes it is just them getting very upset and they reget it. Sometimes it is immaturity. It can be another aspect of their personality coming out, a meanness, in which case you want to avoid them.

I had my bad day yesterday. I had an oral surgery in the morning and it wouldn't stop bleeding for like 10 hours... during which my bird suddenly died. Later my modem crapped out and when I replaced it with an old one to get on a forum I have been on lately, everyone ignorred me.

Today I buried the bird and finally cryed about it. Now I begin the feel like I can start the long healing process that time most always brings, even to the most painful injuries.

You too hopefully will feel better each day.

I'm sorry that happened to you. When my former best friend treated me badly, I was devastated, so I understand completely how you feel. (hugs you tightly)

Wow Toy_Soldier, I'm very sorry. That sounds like a truly awful day. I'm sorry about your bird and your surgery. Your wounds, both physical and emotional, will heal with time.

No good news yet?

You know - this is almost "normal" behaviour for a lot of NT's... they'll blow up and say some awful stuff, then the preferred method for dealing with it the next day is for that person to want to be friendly and pretend it never happened. I hate the method, personally... but if your friend starts talking to you again without apologizing, this is kind of a silent apology. Maybe take it as such and get back to enjoying life and friendship.

[crossing fingers for you!]

Well Ladybugs, we got two new birds today. A pair of little blue finches. It is nice to have little chirps going on in the backround again. I know people are not finches, but it did make me think that at least in some cases the best way to deal with a hole in your life is to fill it with something new... or at least do some active trying out of new things.
