ok, ill add some details to whats going on. ok, my intermediate family has been suffering financially. my sister is currently unemployed and she relied on savings. we have a truck given to us by a family friend and on tuesday, she came by to take it back. payments have not been made on the truck because the family friend pays on it and she havent done it. she wanted to get the truck before the tow people do and now, we have no vehicle. we have no public transportations running where i live and it sucks. i told some people about it on facebook and they all told me to be strong. i am tired of hearing that. yes, i know you have to be strong in tough times but i hate when people say to be strong. i cant help if i feel depressed and overwhelmed and close to meltdown. people are saying be strong like i am weak and im not. im just overwhelmed and needs to bounce back. its like no one cares or want to listen. i already feel embarressed about telling my other friends on facebook. i dont want to come here to get criticized. i mean goddamn.

If you want advice, I suggest adding more background information.

Yes, much better.

So, what do you want to improve then, how other people view you or do you just want to be judged less?

I don't know if it's true for the people who told you "stay strong", but I think sometimes people say that because they're not sure what else to say. They want to respond, but with something positive. So they say stuff like, "hang in there" or "stay strong". I guess that's better than when people tell you to "cheer up".

I don't think that saying (stay strong) generally implies you are weak. It implies you are strong and they're wishing you continued strength through the difficulties you are having. They recognize your situation is tough, so they don't want to minimize it.

I hope things improve for you and your family. I thought of something, depending on where you are located. At the holidays sometimes you can get a free bicycle, so that way you could have at least that kind of transportation. And the charity place in my city will sometimes give people rides to town, also might be some transportation or other helpful services available if you check with your city and/or county.
