My boyfriend's a**hole friend was enough of a dick to say this in a Skype call with my boyfriend and me. He was talking about his "pulling skills," and my boyfriend was like, "yeah well you can't pull Serena and I can!" or something like that, and his friend said, "yeah you can pull the AUTISTIC ones. you can have them," and went on for a few moments on that topic, and then I left. Earlier this week, the friend was like, "I like autistic people. I knew a kid with it," but now he just enforces how everybody else of the general population thinks. Basically, the translation to what he said in the Skype call is: All you can attract is those dumb, worthless, lesser-being autistic people that nobody likes, and I sure don't want any of that mess, so you can have all of those if you're into that kind of weird ass thing.

I think he's teasing you because he likes you.

I don't think that's an NT or even a general populace thing, that's just an ignorant, possessive demeanor that will backfire pretty soon on anyone who believes such nonsense. I'm extremely weird and I pretty much see things inversely; friends get confused and/or flustered when I refuse to categorize & pigeonhole them. Eventually everyone chills out & makes peace with me. I suggest you try more or less the same thing with this person - just ignore all their slights & it will drive them bonkers until they're forced to reconcile their viewpoint with yours.

I don't know where either of these conclusions came from; I'm pretty sure he's just an a**hole. This isn't the only dumb thing he's done.

You're pretty much spot on about your judgement of the friend. Unfortunately, that's the majority of people around that age. It's more about "pulling b*****s" rather than building any sort of relationship. Best to not let these sorts of people influence you at all.

I think this guy is saying things like that to make himself seem cooler. It's an old idea, but I've come to realise it's true, people do put others down because it makes them feel better than other people. Hopefully he grows out of it and realises what a horrible person he was, but many of them don't. For you, I advise staying away from him whenever possible. You don't need people like that in your life.

I had to look "pulling" up in the urban dictionary. I love the different uses of American English vs British English. I think your boyfriend's friend is a w*ker :D

Agreed. It's hard not to take it personally, but the guy was probably just lashing out against your BF saying he can't pull hot tail. Just dumb male ego.
