I can't help but feel that there were millennials who got pregnant and had kids in the early or mid 2000s and are now maybe 15 to 20 by now. The UK TV presenter Holly Willoughby (43) has three kids who are 15, 13 and 9. I know of millennials on my stepmum's side of the family. The daughter has a 12 year old and a 7 year old and the oldest son has a 17 year old and two 13 year old twins. Between 18 and 29, it never once occurred to me to become a father. It still isn't happening in my 30s.

Why wouldn’t some millennials have teenagers? It’s not at all uncommon for people to have kids in their early 20s.

The oldest millennials hit puberty close to 30 years ago.

It would be utterly shocking if they didn't have at least some kids that were approaching adulthood now.

My daughter's a millennial and she's 33 now so she could easily have an offspring of that age. She could very easily be a granny if you think about it

There are grandparents who are in their 30s you know

Mum-Zi was a Nigerian woman who became a grandmother at age 17 in 1884.

Marcolo Nersta was also 17 when she became a grandmother.

Rifca Stanescu was 23 when she became a grandmother in 2009.

The more you know.

One of my foster carers became a gran at 31 or 32. Her daughter was my school friend so that's how I know

She was 16 when she had her daughter (my friend) and my friend followed the same pattern
