Since I confronted, well, most of my childhood and teenage past selves memories and feelings...

... How about my younger adult years?

Feelings and thoughts, more aligned and relevant with the recent and present.

Both rational and irrational.

All the damage done by this sick version of myself.
All those stupid coping with crap shite as an adult.

Sentiments truer to the now than the then.
Closer and closer...

My sister is gone. The only person I have left is my "partner" and he constantly insults and mocks me. I think this might be my last day alive.

I'm so sorry about your sister, CHR. It's not right that your partner treats you unkindly. I hope that you can find help and support from someone, perhaps a counsellor?

Have you told anyone about how your partner treats and insults you?

I've been having blackouts lately, I think it's down to my drinking. Went drinking with my fellow alkie neighbour gary a few days ago and ended up on the floor. Tend to get up feeling quite positive, have a cup of tea and some water and then the need for alcohol creeps up on my and I get on the booze. Can't deal with changes in my routine. Have great difficulty dealing with other people so I'm mainly stuck in my flat on my own. 35 years ago I was working as an electronics technician in Berkshire. Then I had problems with depression and ended up giving it up which I now deeply regret.

Is it like where you completely just can't remember anything

Like if you go from A to B but you can't remember anything about the journey

I woke up to find I'd thrown up on the bedroom carpet the other day and I couldn't remember a thing about it.

It was on the other side of the room so I must have got out of bed. I just remember absolutely nothing about it which freaks me out a bit.
