O anxiety in it's most annoying form- the lack of sleep. As if it wasn't enough to be anxious all the time the lack of sleep just worsens it....Have you tried sleeping pills? or make sleep a "special interest" as i did a couple years ago and guaranteed i would get eight a nite....melotonin is a great sleeping aid. try that

Your bio says "helping people" is one of your interests.

How often do you find someone who shares that?

melatonin, an over the counter antihistimine, a bit of decent whiskey, a pint or two.
Then you'll nod off ....

I spent the night at my parents house so I could be around my mom a bit, that helped.

I also found out that part of my problem is I was in quite a bit of back pain and did not realize it.

I got my back sorted out and slept really well. So I think it was a mixed problem.

I'm still worried about my mom but I talked to her about it. She says she is down to 1 smoke a week so that's good.

She seems to actually want to quit. My mom is the type of person to be honest and up front so I believe her.

Previously she said she cant quit so this is a big change from before her hospital visit.

There is not any real way to deal with my concerns about my mother so I'll just do the best i can.

to answer your question Alphabetania My boyfriend likes helping people. He has helped me through so much. I feel very lucky to have him in my life. It is rare indeed to find some one who cares that much in this world.
So I feel blessed to have him in my life.

I think it is just been a rough year for me. my mom going to the hospital. my surgery, worrying i had cancer. But I don't have cancer and my surgery went well so I'm ok.

Its just alot of drama but hopefully I'll cope better then i am now.

I'm not as bad as i was before . I feel better after visiting my parents.

It helps my dad and I are finally getting along .

For those of you who know about my past you know what a amazing achievement this is!

I feel blessed to have my boyfriend in ym life too. He really is sweet and kind. I just didn't understand why he had to do certain things to me at first. And then he told me enough for me to understand.

When I was feeling bad he would always ask me how I felt. After a while I felt like a sick person being asked that all the time, but it was still nice. He always offered to take me to see my shrink or to the mental hospital. Only he could get away with that, because he knew that mental hospitals were actually fun places for me. He never said or acted like I was a negative person in any way or what I was saying or doing or feeling was negative, unless I was saying that what he was saying or feeling or doing was bad or that he was bad.

I'm still not sleeping well . I also had some of my psychotic symptoms return. I started hallucinating and i heard voices.

I know I'm stressed out , I have a lot to stress about. My mom is slowly dying before my eyes. And to top it all off they may be losing there house.

If they lose there house they will have t get rid of everything they own and move up state.

I will have to go with them because I don't want to be that far away from my mom.

I just get sad about it all.

I'm gonna take a Tylenol-pm and try and get some sleep.

:tired:

ok... that did not work at all. I don't feel tired at all.

The label says see a doctor if you have sleeping trouble for over 2 weeks. perhaps I should.

I find it odd that it did not make me feel tired.
If anything I feel more awake.

What does that mean?.

ohhhh, i don't know. sorry for all this complaining. I'm just venting.

Yes the dreams can be very weird on melatonin, but that only happens for a few nights. Just me are you taking any pain med's, some may keep you awake, some are loaded with caffeine.

Be thankful she has that much time. By the time my aunt (30+ year smoker) found out she had cancer, she lived only 6 months before she passed away.

10 years is a ways away - make the best of it. :)

No. I was right after my surgery, but that was last month.
