So I won tickets from work for a baseball game and when I got there I would been in seats next to her , her sister(also coworker) and their friends. I'd had to squeeze by in front of her. So we left.

Also my sister couldn't handle sitting in the middle of the seating.

I feel sad and worried now work will be upset I didn't go. Am I bad or is it normal?

In a loud area sourounded bu other people. And her sister in between us?
I dont know if she likes me , and I feel her sister doesnt like me.

Maybe I should just stop talking to her at work . Could be she's nervous and uncomfortable around me. I'm 28 and she's like 20.

You should have stayed, Sly.

Don't you like baseball?

I might get in trouble for this post and have giving it much thought but honestly isolation is the best policy, sisters are normally pretty close so if her sister doesn't like you odds are she probably doesn't like you either. I see no problem here, in fact I would praise how you handled the situation and I would have done the same thing except I wouldn't have ever liked this women in the first place nor would I have been at such an event. Your save so much pain and suffer by keeping to yourself. I say this is completely normal but this is coming from a career crazy so take it for what its worth.

Just leaving is my solution to everything,

There's no evidence that either girl doesn't like him.

In fact, the girl he works with might actually like him.

He should have stayed at the game....to watch baseball!

Okay I am a bit of realist here, why do you think her sister doesn't like you sly279?

If kraftiekortie is right then maybe you should have stayed but if they left any clue to leave them alone then then I am with you sly279.

Whenever I want to escape all the bullcrap, I retreat to watching ball games.

I m not good enough for anyone that works retail anyways.

It's ok. I don't like sports much but baseball is one I can go to game and enjoy and sort of understand

It's only retail Sly. It's not like she works as a CEO or an empress or something.

Awww, you should have stayed. You would have had fun. Having to shuffle in front of someone else is a perfectly normal thing to do. I do it in the cinema all the time.

Anyway you should ask that girl out, she sounds nice. It seems like you both watch baseball so you'll have something to talk about.

Perhaps baseball would be a good venue for your first date. That way you could both banter about the game in play.

Anyway good luck with her slugger.

Very little evidence to go on in both cases, sounds like classic social anxiety cognition.

Whether or not she like you is less of the point, it shouldn't stop you doing things.

You are saying she acted awkward in response to you, not acknowledging you. Well how are you different? You did the same thing.

It is called pre-empting failure. You don't know, but you assume you are going to fail. You would rather not wait to fail, so you pre-empt the failure.

Well it was mainly that I didn't want to be inches from the face of the girl I like and don't know if she likes me back. Then be stuck sitting near here for 5 hours.

Did the same thing when?

I always fail despite trying. I went out of my comfort zone to talk to here few times and even compliment her on her hair once(which was really hard. I feel I've shown interest and I'm not able to move forward unless she shows some that I can tell. I don't want to be the big joke of the whole store and have to continue to work there day to day.
