It was a neighbor's dog. I had to get a tetanus shot. :(

Ah well, the tetanus shot should keep you going for a while...

I'm glad that it wasn't one of the very serious maulings one hears about and that you will soon be all right. Also, I'm glad to see you back on Wrong Planet.

I've been bitten before. I tripped on another dog, stepped on his foot so he bit me. I couldn't really blame him. It wasn't too bad, I mean I didn't need to go to the ER or anything. The tissue where I was bitten is changed from how it was now though.

Where'd you get bitten? I hope it wasn't too bad

Sorry about that.

But at least you’re okay, and didn’t have to get a rabies shot.

Double ouch. Tetanus shots make your arm sore.

Since it was bad enough to send you to the ER it sounds lawsuit worthy.

Hope you'll be alright. The trauma from something like that can be the worst part of all.

I was bit on the ankle. These dogs came from somebody's yard while I was jogging and started barking at me. I tried to ignore them and one bit me really hard.

My mom took me to the emergency room and they called animal control. They're going to test this dog to make sure he's up to date on its shots.

I hope it didn't have rabies. :(

That's your fault not the dogs , when are you going to take responsibility for your actions.

I once had a dog bite my head off but I stuck it back on with duck tape and joined the army.

Walk it off you p****!

Obviously I'm joking Twiz , I couldn't resist.

I seriously doubt it will have rabies but you can't be too careful , hope you feel alright and it didn't give you too much of a fright , dogs can't be vicious bastards sometimes and it's usually the owners to blame for this behaviour.

How long you been jogging ? Are you getting the results you need ? And how long will you have to 'not jog' for now ?

I used to go for three mile walks when I lived in Pensacola all the time to help me lose weight.

I havent done it in awhile and I've gained weight again. So I started going for walks here in the trailer park where my Mom lives. It went fine at first and usually when those dogs come barking after me I ignore them. But this time one of them bit me.

What really sucks is we were supposes to go to Wild Adventures today. I don't know if I can still go with my foot hurting and swelling. :|

It's an amusement park in Valdosta, Georgia. They have rides, animals, and around Halloween time they do cool horror attractions. :)

That's a difficult one to call and all dependent on the seriousness of the injury..

Personally I would take the relevant painkillers and go anyway and limit my activity , rides that give you an adrenaline rush might mask the pain.

I would rather go and find out it was a mistake to go , than not go and regret it.

But obviously medical advice should be adhered to , if the Dr's said rest then that's what needed.

I think you're right. I was told to limit how much walking I do and keep my leg elevated. :(
