Do they have your agreement to use these restraints?
The SEGUFIX site uses frames, which makes links a bit of a pain, but this seems pretty clear:
Safety InformationI cannot see any way that the "staff" can decide to use these restraints. I'm not sure that you can even ask them to restrain you. It would seem to me that it should only be on the explicit orders of your doctor.
I also note that the SEGUFIX safety instructions, above, say:
Quote:
Warning! Monitor patients frequently:
Patients in restrictive products require frequent monitoring. Aggressive, agitated, restless patients and those in danger of aspirating require continuous monitoring.
That sounds to me as if they probably should be monitoring you MORE often - they may need EXTRA staff to provide sufficient monitoring for all the residents throughout the night.
Do they have your agreement to use these restraints? -yes since its better then using old wrist and ankle restraints (witch are still in use lot of residents etc around world) and as far that i know they have doctor agreement to use restraints when i get meltdowns ..i havent yet got chance to ask my doctor do they have permission to use em at nigth too ,hes coming at wednesday ..also yes they are saving money in wrong place even if they would got permission to use restraints at nigth
