I entered my cat in a photo competition a few days ago, and ever since have been trying desperately to get enough votes to win. I've been advertising on every site I am on, asking all my friends, plugging every plug board and even creating a small website on freewebs to try and encourage people to vote for him.

And yet none of it seems worth while when I know that there are people out there who are cheating, getting themselves on the score board by working their way around the system and making it so they can vote multiple times. I know, because I was searching through the web and came across a forum where they were openly talking about how they were cheating. There were so many pets who had unbelievable amounts of votes too.

I'm trying to keep calm, but I am just furious. I'm trying so hard to win the honest way, but what chance do I have when there are people who are doing it the easy, dishonest way? Nothing. Good as nothing.

Cheating is not winning. This is where the term nice guys finish last comes from. That's my mantra. That and no good deed goes unpunished.

It's hard to loose something because people are like that. It's really unfair and you should be angry. Unfortunately you can't do anything about these people. Just try to make sure you don't get tired of this crap and lose your integrety. This world would be a better place with more people like you in it.

I'm sure your cat is just beautiful, even if he doesn't win.

So, why not screenshot (or "Save full page") and forward the information to the judges?

I've done that, but they are still at it.

This is impossible. Even after all my advertising, I've only got 112 votes. The competition ends on Wednesday, I need at least 600 to get on the score board due to all these damn cheaters and I'm just about losing it. I've tried everything I could think of to get votes for him, but there is no way I could compete with these a**holes.

I really wanted to win. I really did. I needed the money to buy my cats a proper scratching post, because they don't have one and I can't afford to buy them one. And I also wanted to know that I acutally could accomplish something. I wanted to feel good about myself for once. I wanted to know what pride felt like.

Cant beat em, join em.

Cheat for them: If they get 4 billion votes, the judges just HAVE to assume that there is something wrong with the votes since it is very unlikely that half the population on the planet suddenly stopped and voted on someones cats...

Unless you're going to find out where they live and make something happen, nothing is going to happen.

You should just cheat, what's a small piece of corruption in a whole pie of corruption?

Could you PM me the voting site? I might be able to help.

I know that cheating is the only way I will have a shot at winning, but I can't bring myself to do it. I can't do something like that, never had done and probably never will be able to, for the same reasons that I always loss in 'Cheat'.

Props to you man. It takes a lot to not cheat when its the only winning move and everyone else is doing it. +1 vote from me.
EDIT:
For the record... I'm not a pet person... never have been and never will be. I voted because you deserve some f****n votes for your honesty!
