The approach and rationale has wider implications, though it depends obviously on what your goal is and whether you are attempting to set a precedent for how we should remove autistic members.
My main interest/aim in all of this is WP and its sustainability.
My approach is to try to be the change I wish to see in the world.

I'm a lone wolf per se, so I haven't been included in these PMs you spoke of. I am automatically suspicious of motives when it becomes a group approach.
Yeah lying has a tendency to set me off too, disingenuous people in general.
They are my triggers I guess.
I find the rallying against member via PM hypocritical, especially on a forum where members complain of bullying at the hands of NTs. Being out of the gossip loop and hearing people's complaints about how Ferris was working so assiduously for our safety for example or complaints about the OP was interesting, the rest of us were unaware of the festerring mess. It sucked that the only people up to date with events were part of the gossip circles while the rest of us had to endure the rapidly shifting landscape that WP became, rather like being in The Matrix. As an outsider, the sanctimony of some members who gave themselves away as gossips purely from being up to speed with events was quite revealing. Then to point the fingers at the mod team for lack of transparency, a joke.

Yes it didn't sit well with me either, that all this was happening behind the scenes and that knowledge seemed to be in the hands of those who voiced it only as part of an agenda.
It made me quite uncomfortable, reminded me of normative tactics I've experienced before and the outcome was/is always negative.
I've spoken honestly with Fnord in public view about my take on all of this. By placing faith in his potential to alter his ways of interacting with vulnerable members, that comes with an expectation of seeing concrete evidence of this over time.
