If he can't get shelter in Seattle it might be wiser to go back to SC in Cali where if he has to sleep outside at least there's a better chance of it being dry. That alone, for health & healing purposes, would be worth the price of a bus ticket out of a shelterless Seattle.

Yes, sometimes you have to "shake the dust off your feet" and move on. Maybe this is one of those times. Focus on what you can do, rather than what you can't, it's the only way out of your dilemma. If this is achievable, there could be much to gain by making the journey, and though you may be tempted to focus on the risks and problems, try to keep the possible gains forefront in your mind. It's one of those times in life when you have to try to light a candle instead of cursing the darkness, Ass-P. I am not minimising your plight, I know it isn't easy for you in your desperate circumstances. However we are all hoping that better times lay ahead for you and that you will move toward them.

...Okay .
It is Sat. aft , my bus leaves in several hours , when my time is up in , say , an hourish , I'll have several hours to kill .
I sort of wanted to go to a movie , BUT , my cash is getting low , anmd maybe I'd get heat  about my homeless-lookingness , that happened in ~ Was it Bellingham or Olympia?? ~ when I tried to see " Guardians Of The Galaxy " . I haven't been to a proper " movie-theater movie " in all my WA time , in fact . Maybe I'll say more on this later , to save (dear) posting time now .
I guess this will be my last chance 2B in front of a keyboard til' Tuesday , as I assume the SC Library would be closed Monday (And they tend to even shut down their bus service 100% entirely , on at least on " big " holidays , like Christmas and July 4th , IIRC !)...Actually , I no longer have my " library card " from there (Which wasn't really an able-to-take0out-books one , IIRC , and I may have been short of enough " proof of residence " to make it one , but I was able to get a free hour of computer time daily . I guess I can say I lost it??) .
My feet are showing actual , if not " real " blood (at least on one foot) , " discharge " blood ~ Which is still blood .
Presumably I'm putting too much weight on it/walking on it too often , and I think the strap from the Chaco hiking/" full " sandal which is my only footwear at this time ~ Though it's an overhead sandal strap , not a " between the first and second , or , for that matter , any other pairing of toes " strap ~ is scraping a little blood .
This has been known to happen to me with sandal straps in the past , and even the high bacvks of modern sneakers , the back of the shoe/sneaker rubbing into my upper back area sufficiently to blister/get at least a little blood !
I think you can see that I maybe DO , REALLY , need some rest/care :( .
Ironically?? ~ I suppose that , in some medical places , I might buckle against: (1) Possible trying to much to keep me inside/by the place (whatever place it is) (2) possible over-attempts to have me go around in a wheelchair or whatever ~ I will grant that that could be nessecary/needed a bit , but I rhink that the instincts of medical types might combine to try and keeep me overly in a wheelchair , I want to learn to walk again really well , not be a wheelchair person  .

...In all my time in Seattle , my basic stomping grounds has bee VERY LIMITED , basically going from Pioneer Square to that Pike Place shopping area...Well , I have this BALL & CHAIN ! ...Plus , that seems to be an Aspie-ish thing of mine , I lived a decade-plus in San Francisco and my basic area , " hoeizontally " , anyway , sort of went from the Castro Street end of the Market Street trolley to where Market Street ran into the Embarcadero  .

...Briefly , I am in Santa Cruz now (arrived yes'dy , P's Day hol-ay-dee) , the bus journey , which was supposed to take 'bout 29 hours from the Seattle bus station to SC's , took , instead (after a bizarre opening act in the Emerald City) took about 41 hours from Seal=ttle - to , in the San Jose Greyhound , taking my bags and a refund for the SJ-SC last leg and walking out the door , carrying my ball and chain , then busing , to the Highway 17 bus from SJ to SC , say 43 hours total - instead of having to wait til' 10:55 Monday evening in the SJ depot btil' another bus came along , after one delay or breakdown after another had happened , so my shoes were in my sandals for about 48 continuous hours total :( .
The fact is , much of the  bad stuff on my feet/leegs that were supposed to go away with the amputations appears 2B back  , and my first night outside last nite reminded how chilly Santa Cruz can be , and I got still another camping ticket - definitely described as an infraction , not a misdemeanor - this ayem .

ASS-P, was just told to warn you to avoid the low-lying SC areas as they are subject to something called a "king tide" which can sneak in and engulf everything therein.

my guess would be within a few blocks of the waterfront areas in addition to the beach. so if you are near there it would be a good idea to go higher up on land.

I would say these are "beach areas," primarily.

On both bay and sea. And nearby trails and highways. Excessive high and excessive low tide.

Apparently, the "king" high tides will occur "mid-to-late morning."

You'd have to know where you are, and you would have to consult the high tide tables for that location.

I can't help but wonder if the prescription you never got filled may have helped prevent this.

Go to a hospital ER asap and get them to have a look and see what they can do before it gets worse and you lose a foot/leg.
