The written medium, all in all, is always subject to misinterpretation.

I'm not smart enough to gaslight anybody----even if I wanted to. Which I don't---because it's a waste of my time.

You're a prominent part of the Site. I can understand you're upset.

I just don't like quitting. I've quit too many times myself.

Well, what?
Do I just continue to put up with it?
I don't have the energy.

Well at least PM for my email if you're leaving too!

We're all blocked. :(

But that's just BS from one person. And maybe a few others.

How about the people who don't give you BS---and who support you? (I'm not talking about myself. Others are much more supportive to you than I am).

You don't have to "not quit" because of them. But I don't believe quitting would benefit you, over all. But that's only my opinion.

I've been tempted to leave, too....when I've had a few people try to screw with me. Then, I thought about it, and realized that not everybody on WP are "those few people." I realized that, overall, that WP is a decent Site.

I'm sort of thinking that quitting would be a "cut your nose to spite your face" kind of thing.

It’s just a feeling I have.

I just feel you have too many friends here to worry about a few people whom you think don't like you.

I don't know you. I don't remember if I said something in regards to the situation you are referring to. I don't remember the situation you are referring to.

But I will say, and this is coming from a peaceful Quaker, this post is gratuitous and just plain mean.

Kip is describing past events and his reactions to them. If he is addressing you, then you have the right to defend yourself. But if he is addressing someone else, then letting it alone might be the better option.

I don't know who the post is directed at. Could be me for all I know. And I usually let things go.

Regardless, I think the post is mean and gratuitous regardless of the intended recipient. It was posted publicly. It is exactly the kind of thing that should not be happening in a public forum.

What do you mean? As far as I'm aware no one convinced you to leave.

Speaking for myself I've had overwhelmingly good experiences here.

Blazingstar, I don't think he's referring to anyone in particular.

If guilt-tripping others for their actions was a bannable offense, then likely half the members now here would be gone. I'm with Envi and Kip on this.

Blazingstar, I don't think he's referring to anyone in particular.

He's talking about myself, ferris and a few others, can't remember everyone exactly.
He blames us, mostly me, for 'making' him break up with his manipulative gf - this is not only our judgement, he himself admits she was manipulative viewtopic.php?f=23&t=340410&start=750#p8095053
So basically he's been making little jabs at me from time to time for the past eight or so months, which he denies doing, so I can't even resolve the issue to any satisfaction, and I have tried.
My fault, obviously, for caring about him more than he cares about himself.
Ferris, of course, could confirm this, if he hadn't been driven off by another such incident.

People said much worse things about my love life on here, hell so did Kip & I forgive all that because those people don't know me.

'Destroyed' relationships only exist in the past - the future is another story entirely.

[opinion=mine]

If there is a problem, let the mods handle it -- that's what they're here for.

If there is no problem -- other than bruised egos -- then let it go.

Don't live in the past.

I don't believe in living in the past, either.

I believe Raleigh gave advice in good faith. I don't believe he should be blamed at all for anything in this instance.

I don't believe that it's anyone else's business.

I agree. Let them settle it.

I hope they become good friends afterwards.
