I think there's a relatively simple solution. But, it would mean acknowledging that sometimes some of us have anger issues. I know I do. It seems to me there's a little more tolerance on the political forums for high passion and misbehavior. Maybe there's a way we could have a gloves off forum, or a frustration forum? Maybe by invitation only? Ahahahaha... sorry. Even saying that, I know some dips**t will wander in there and get their feelings hurt, report us all and we'll get warnings.

In all other forums feelings must be respected, I do that myself anyway. But, it's nice to have a place to get aggression out that won't hurt the more sensitive members. I could be as nasty as Fnord is, easily. So, in this respect, he's not alone.

We have a “rant” thread and a “rave” thread in the Haven.

But you can’t rant and rave against other WP members.

Your attitude is doing more harm than you know, and it is serious harm.

You are responsible for keeping yourself from bullying others. Only this. If you see a bullying situation and want to help, report it. Right now, I do see a bullying situation and I ask you to refrain before I do report it.

Because he's proving himself to be a very slippery fish indeed. He's been carrying on with his antics for years and many people site him as being their reason for leaving the site.

That said, here's my suspicion: One or more mods were dismissed for abuse of authority. Their friends and admirers have rallied in support of those mods, and have since gone on the attack against a victim who does not have the authority to dismiss, suspend, or even issue a "board warning" to defend himself.

Please submit your evidence to The Walrus and the other mods. If it's a PM, then report it by clicking on the exclamation point in the lower-right corner. You can even use the quote function to send a copy to each of the mods, but don't post it publicly -- that's against the rules.

I would be very interested to know "his old tricks". I've never experienced being tricked by him. Misunderstood, yes. Not shown empathy, yes. But tricked? Can you show me some archive?
