I know what I'm about to say isn't as big a problem as everyone elses, but I got to get it off my chest. I hate going out to eat with my parents. The same thing happens every time: first, my mom tries to tell me what to eat and acts passive aggressive towards me, then my dad guilt trips me by bringing up something I failed at or didn't do right that I'm trying my hardest not to think about it The only person that I enjoy talking to in my family is my brother, because we have fun conversations.

At times like this I wished I had friends to talk to, but I'm such a asocial freak that all the friendships I attempted didn't last.

I want to just become a wandering traveler at times, just move from state to state, anything to get away from my life in this boring ass town of mind.

You idiot! How the hell did you get your computer SO infected with viruses that the program to kill them cannot be installed?! All of those files are going to be GONE thanks to you, Miss "I'm Too Much of a Genius to Ever Get a Computer Virus." Well there you go! Maybe you need to watch what you click, even though quite honestly I have no you what you opened that gave you a virus. Anyway, let's hope we fix this ASAP; we've got exams next week, and we can't do them if the computer is running like crap!

I make a post asking for advice on WP & members get soo hung-up on one little part that I should of left out becasue it really wasn't important; they start judging me & don't give me any helpful advice & completely ignore the main point of my post. I deleted everything I typed & I hope the post gets deleted. Have to remember to be more careful about what I say here because members might misunderstand & lose sight of the main issue

Nick they were trying to make you realize of something that you may not be aware off.
I was on a similar situation once a couple of years ago and I wish somebody had given me the same warning, now Im afraid to bump into some of my neighbours becuase the missunderstandings that happened made them hate me and they are unwilling to listen to any explanation I tried to give them.

They misunderstood & did not listen when I tried to reexplain what was going on & they ignored what I wanted advice with & what my main problems were. If I would of left that one part out; I would of gotten helpful advice. Next time I post for advice; I will stick to only mentioning what the main problem I'm having is & leave everything else out

They were trying to explain that there is a bigger problem that you should be concerned about.

I understand that you may not relate to those your age much but you should try to find a place with some people your age that share your interests.

For the record theres another thread about whats flirting/how to avoid it that has just been opened at L&D so you may want to have a look on it.

I'm staying out of the L&D section for a while. This isn't the 1st time I had problems there. I'm going to let this issue drop. I'm tried of people misunderstanding

Got my results yday (HFA/AS, it's unsure whether I really fit in AS as I show a lot but not all key symptoms For example, I am very analytical and am capable of learning to use things I experience (Idioms for example, once I have a definition I'm capable of using them).

Anyway, I was expecting a high IQ result, but I got a 109 score on the official one (2h one!) And I feel bummed out and angry at myself

I scored horribly low on verbal cognitive skills (remembering words/numbers when they are said, and then doing things with those words/nr's as I repeat them). Working memory it's also called. I did however score 9% points away from being officially classes as 'gifted' in logic/spacial thinking/patterns/analysis.

Still, 109. Not good enough! I must improve myself.

I realized this morning that the college I'm attending doesn't have its act together. Driving home, I encountered terrible drivers. I took Mom to run a couple of errands, and she kept changing her mind. I got an racist picture message meant for the guy who had my cell phone number 10 months ago, anti-white and perpetuating stereotypes of Mexicans as violent criminals, which I guess the stupid a-hole who sent it considers positive. 8O The machine where I buy my water was apparently contaminated with something, so I had to buy new water bottles, and when I put one in the recycling box, it didn't automatically give me a ticket. I had to stand at the front of the grocery store and wait for a manager to get the key. I had a couple of good things happen, but as soon as they ended, something else set me off, and I've spent most of the day enraged.

Now, reading over this post, I feel like an idiot for letting this get to me. No one's trying to kill me, I have enough to eat and work to do and entertainment choices 80% or more of the world would envy, and I still feel irritated as hell.

I just can't seem to get anything together. My anxiety and depression have come back with a vengeance, and the effect they have on me is ruining the life of somebody I deeply care about. I become so worked up at the simplest of things, and I'm in tears nearly every day. Over the past few days, I really did find a new sense of optimism, but now all my efforts just seem to have come crashing down again...

All I want is to be happy, and to bring happiness to someone I love. Why is that so impossible when there's absolutely no reason why I should be this dissatisfied with my life?

I'm so sad at the moment. I just know I'm going to cry floods of tears tomorrow. I'm so scared that I'll lose someone I love this weekend, after I've made his life hard for the past few weeks with my depression. Everyone keeps telling me that my fear's irrational, and I know it is, but it just doesn't penetrate. I'm tired of my life being coloured by fear and unhappiness, and I'm tired of being made to face things that I can't handle...

Why do people have to speak for me? They make decisions without asking me if it's alright, they just assume it will be. They don't ask anyone else involved in the situation either. I put that an OCD thought was bothering me on this Facebook page and someone said "I have the exact thing but it's not OCD". Well maybe for HIM it's not, but not me, it is. I wish people would just stop speaking for me!

Watching a debate at the Center for a New American Security on C-SPAN, I just heard Steve Coll, former Managing Editor of the Washington Post, say "irregardless." Good grief!
