Wish I could just die. Now I’ll have no friendly people at work if I go back.

People have to understand the risk of COVID-19.

Nobody under 44 years of age has died.

They say it’s fake just a liberal program to win the election from trump.
So no they won’t take it seriously.



Thayts. It true. While not as many as old people of all ages have, even one kid under 10 has died. And 40% of icu cases in the USA are age 20-40, they could very well die if they don’t recover. Itally has so many young people on Icu they have to just let old people die to prioritize trying to save the young.

If it gets worse, the USA maybe have to let people your age die to try to save people my age. That’s is what’s scary, I hope we don’t end up seeing military trucks full of bodies trucking out every. Night from ny for mass cremation. Italy loses between 600-800 people a day.
I can only imagine they must just have a pit somewhere and burning them with gas since morgue who’d normally do it are full.

There was a case yesterday in the UK where an 18-year old died.

I hope everything goes ok with your work. A lot of UK businesses stayed open until they absolutely had to close because of insurance policies and such- I wonder if it's the same there?

They said they got a bunch of gloves to donate to local hospital for covid19 l but the gloves are black in colour instead of white so if anyone who works in the field can confirm that it's ok for use can message them?

Yes, it certainly looks like showing off - which is quite a common thing, showing off your charity is rather a common behavior in cultures that value it. Probably the charity wouldn't be nearly as successful if you forbid advertising yourself with it.

Voluntary donation ought to be kept private unless other ppl draw attention to it or you think stating it in some way helps the people you are trying to help. Which I don't think applies here.

That's one thing I actually like about Saudis is they are extremely generous and charitable more than people can imagine but rarely share unless doing so increases donations. The bad thing then is then they are demonized in the press and by outsiders for not helping people that they ironically did more for than others. Eg syrian refugees.

A user here shared that his wife is sewing face masks at home to donate. Now that is a useful thing to mention as it can spread a good idea. It also isn't said with the intention of promoting his business or something. I just wonder how one can ensure it is acceptable to medical standards. I wonder whether there are instructions available.

Morally, you're right. Pragmatically, I think some tolerance can be beneficial.

The masks are probably not for hospital use, just for civilians, so they don't need to be certified.
