Okay, I'll rave a bit.

My date went superbly well. :D
We met up at the theater and saw Indy 4. I got the tickets ahead of time and she got snacks. We talked before the movie for a bit and then watched it. Afterwards we went to MCD for a quick bite and talked more.
She said she had a fun time and we're already planning for a next date.

So, wow. This really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. She must like me because it is almost feeling easy, but I'm not complaining.
It's almost bizarre... the more I find out about her, the more we have in common. It's uncanny... I'm almost expecting her to say she's an aspie next.... well she is more social than me and has a bigger circle of friends.
She is such a sweetie.

Indy 4 was pretty good BTW. Got a little weird at the end with the interdimensional aliens though...

I feel so good I forget to take my meds and Jack keeps asking me if I took them because he knows I forget and said I really have to pay attention, and nobody believes me when I say I think I have ADD! I'm too manic to sleep right now, so here I am. I hope this lasts.

Crap; that was me, forgetting I was logged in as Jack and not logging out. See what I mean? I tell you, I have ADD!

I love my job. I can surf the net in the early
morning while I wait for the rest of the company
to trickle in an hour-or-so later at 8. It gives
me time to browse through WP, learning more
each day, without people looking over my shoulder.

I didn't lose the piece of paper that I needed! :D (Yes, that is unusual enough to merit writing about it here.)

i got 5 days off work and it was amazing. i didn't have to think about work, and even when it did pop into my head it was easy to dismiss. i didn't even think about it when my boss (my uncle) was at the cottage and we were chatting, but as soon as he called me on monday night about work i felt weighted down and depressed. but those 5 days were amazing.

A couple of days ago I corrected a misconception that a couple of other teachers at the school I teach at had about autism; and they listened and asked me for more information. :) :) :)

What misconception was it?

My raving:

Brain damage is fascinating. I feel an obsession coming on. I know it's innapropriate for me to be happy about brain damage, but the more people know, the more people can help brain damaged people. I know other people probably don't care about the documentary I watched or the book I read. I hope this is not a phase. I hope I can be a neuroscientist. I hope I can do something fantastic. 'The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.'

We've got milkshake in the fridge. :D

This will probably seem like a stupid and trivial thing to rave about to most people but I don't care. I just got finished doing my weekly shopping by driving myself there all alone and at night. Night driving has been hard for me but I decided to do it anyway. This is also the first time that I have driven myself anywhere alone. It is also the first time I have went shopping anywhere alone in a very long time. For me doing something like this would be about the most difficult thing to do, due to my anxiety issues. It would only have been harder if I had done it at night during prime time with many people out on the road and in the store. It was funny, the whole time I felt outside of myself until I finally got back home but I feel pretty good now.

I got elected one of the PR people for my student council. Also, I'm probably going to see Jenny Lewis.

I didn't even think I'd get elected or go to the concert.
