He has been lately. And im worried. he's an aspie and he's just been really depressed lately...like...REALLY depressed. i dont know what to do, since i'm just an internet friend :(. so i cant actually see the situation myself. but his real life friend who i'm also friends with was worried about it as well.
what can i do to help? it's making me incredibly depressed as well. i know for a fact if he did commit suicide i would punch several windows and cry a lot.

A friend of mine attempted suicide this summer. And my little brother is always contemplating it, so this is a situation I an for better or worse familiar with. There is only so much you can do as a friend. Try collaborating with his real life friend that you are friend with, to find ways of cheering him up. I am sorry that I can't provide better advice than this, but I do wish your friend the best.
on a final note, when you cheer him up try and make it clear that it is because you value him as a friend, and do not pity him.

You still could recommend WP. Whether He knows you're a member or not is not important....you can still suggest the website especially if he knows that you know he's AS.

I'm sure in the UK they'd have Lifeline or Suicideline.....free phone help! We have it in OZ, also Griefline in Victoria.

I did not think that you did. Suicidal people often have the nagging feeling that people only express kindness to them out of pity rather valuing them which can be an obstacle to them believing that they have worth. Make sure that he knows that you are worried about him because he is your valuable and irreplaceable friend.
