He has been lately. And im worried. he's an aspie and he's just been really depressed lately...like...REALLY depressed. i dont know what to do, since i'm just an internet friend

. so i cant actually see the situation myself. but his real life friend who i'm also friends with was worried about it as well.
what can i do to help? it's making me incredibly depressed as well. i know for a fact if he did commit suicide i would punch several windows and cry a lot.
A friend of mine attempted suicide this summer. And my little brother is always contemplating it, so this is a situation I an for better or worse familiar with. There is only so much you can do as a friend. Try collaborating with his real life friend that you are friend with, to find ways of cheering him up. I am sorry that I can't provide better advice than this, but I do wish your friend the best.
on a final note, when you cheer him up try and make it clear that it is because you value him as a friend, and do not pity him.
